"That's your order?"

Taerin calmed herself down before looking at Seungcheol and nodded. He was handing the menu back to the waitress and then looked at her.

She wants to look away but she just can't let him see it in her eyes. She was afraid he'd notice she was hiding something. She's worried he might detect her turmoil. She's breaking into cold sweats. Just by thinking of Seungcheol catching her in the act, her heart keeps on beating fast.

Her nerves were panicking with the thought that he might find out that something has changed within her. That he might see it in her eyes.

"Is that all sir?" Asked the waitress, who was giving Seungcheol a sultry look, but that was nothing for him. He just shook his head at the waitress while his eyes are glued to what Taerin was writing.

She just frowned more. How will she ever deal with this kind of man? Everywhere she went, when she was with Seungcheol, people always notice him. He was never an invisible human being. He'd never be the simple and ordinary man that she wanted to have.

But the reality was, she married a man named Choi Seungcheol – a man who was the epitome of power and wealth, a man who wore expensive suits and handmade shoes – a man from her past.

"What are you doing, that you're so immersed with it?"

Her heart leaped from its place. She sighed. She's done for. She's doomed.

Was that even possible? Falling in love with the same man, twice?

She sighed again and shrugged with her heart filled with worry and hesitation. "Nothing." She said and looked at the things she had written on the bond papers she asked for Vanessa a few minutes ago. "I'm just practicing."

They were inside a Chinese restaurant. They came directly thereafter Seungcheol got her at DC building to eat lunch. The place was nice but instead of admiring the restaurant's setting and ambiance, here she was, pretending to be busy.

"Practicing what?" He asked obviously curious about what she is doing while looking at her intently.

She was woken up by Seungcheol's question and she stared at the paper in her hand. Her head almost exploded when she saw what she has been writing on the piece of paper.

"What is it?" The curiosity can be heard in Seungcheol's voice.

She glanced at him and back to the paper. "M-my signature." She said tentatively in a low voice. She glanced at Seungcheol and she saw him with his forehead knotted.

"Why. . . ." He spoke but soon trailed off when he realized what she meant exactly. His brow rises up. "You're changing your signature." He concluded with a gummy grin.

"Tss." She turned away while shaking her head. Yet she can't suppress the smile on her face.

"Let me see."

"No can do."

"Let me see." Seungcheol pleaded like a kid while trying to snatch the paper from her. She tried to get the paper away from his reach but it was too late since he got it already.

"Seungcheol, give that to me!"

She tried grabbing it back but his arms are longer than hers so she gave up instantly. Besides, he was looking at it already so what's the use of hiding it? She just sat still and watched him carefully studying her piece of art.

Yeah. Insert sarcasm there.

"Hmm." He hummed and put a finger across his lips, suppressing a smile.
