A gorgeous woman is what Taerin could see in the mirror. She's the epitome of beauty. The dress hugged her upper body lovingly with an off-shoulder laced sleeves showing off her soft creamy skin and delicate bones. It was a simple and elegant white bridal gown - her dream gown to be exact.

That girl should be happy, smiling, and excited. Because this day would be the day a bride would marry the man of her dreams, but she wasn't. Because apparently, the man she is going to marry at any minute now was not the kind of man she had thought of marrying.

"You're a beautiful bride, Taerin." Yin said the assistant of Anna White, the one who designed her gown.

Yes. She' might be the most beautiful woman on earth today, but if they look at her eyes, they'd know how icy she felt right now.

Her eyes were not sparkling, not even a tiny spark was visible in them. Her facial features were brought out perfectly by her light makeup but her face still looked dull. Good thing that the people that could see her won't be able to see those things from her because, for them, she is the luckiest woman in the world for now.

"Seungcheol would once again fall head over heels on you when he sees you walk down the aisle."

She looked at her through the mirror. She can see her smiling while doing things on her while veil. "We're not star-crossed lovers, Yin. This is pure business marriage." And it's not something people don't know.

She doesn't like giving any other meaning to her wedding with Seungcheol. They might think this marriage is one of those fairytale weddings but she's not that naive.

Yin frowned at what she said. "Still. I know Seungcheol. He's not going to marry someone just like that when he doesn't like her. He never dated for the whole time I knew him." Taerin's thoughts stopped midway. "Well, I'm not saying he lived like a monk. Boys will always be boys. Yet he didn't really date exclusively. Aside from you-" she stopped suddenly and grinned at her then gave her a peace sign like she just remembered something.

Yin was one of Seungcheol's classmates in college that's why they knew each other. Seungcheol's friends and even his brothers all knew their history.

She smiled forcedly and looked at the mirror again. "That was four years ago. Too long ago." They're almost stranger to each other now.

"You know." She came near her to attach the veil to her head. "Even if that's past ago, it still won't change a thing that you have this history and experiences with each other." Yin then fully smiled as she stared at her in the mirror with the veil covering her now. "Gorgeous!"

"Thank you for the wonderful gown, Yin. It sucks that Anna can't make it. I didn't have the chance to thank her personally." They simply made her dream gown come true and she's wearing it now.

If only her Dad was there. Her Dad would be so happy for her. She bet he would cry and her father would be the one walking her down the aisle.

Get a grip, Taerin!

It's not the time to cry. People would think you're being too emotional today, that they were tears of joy. Good thing that the thick veil is covering her face.

If only they know how much she's shaking now - shaking on stopping herself from slapping the hell out of that man.

"They say you're the luckiest girl to marry a royalty - literally a royalty," Yin said while arranging the veil at her back while looking at her through the mirror from time to time. "But if I were to be asked, it's Seungcheol who's very lucky to marry you."

She just smiled at her. Yeah, he was the lucky one since he has in his hands their family business, while she was the cursed one because now she will be tied up with the man who once left her hanging.
