Seungcheol's head came contact of her shoulders again and his body slumped onto her. She was about to push him when she suddenly felt hot. She could feel the long hot breaths.
Something was wrong.
"Seungcheol." She kept her balance as she woke him. She grip on his arms and pushed him lightly away from her. "Seungcheol." She called again. She stopped when she felt the heat from his body. She began to worry. She immediately touched his forehead and her eyes went wide. Seungcheol was burning hot!
"Seungcheol, you're burning!" She said, panicking.
She felt, rather than saw, him smile. "You noticed." It was kind of a whisper but she heard him.
She directly felt guilty. She didn't even notice that he's not feeling well. Well, maybe she did. Yet she thought that it was because of what happened last night but he didn't felt him having a fever.
Then she suddenly remembered that he once went home soaking wet from the rain the night before. Her chest tightened as she felt guiltier. He must've stayed too long under the rain, looking for her.
Seungcheol's body directly slumped into her like a dry leaf and she couldn't do anything to catch him, instead she just screamed.
"Seungcheol!" Her scream can be heard from house as she watches the body on her feet in horror. She crouched immediately and shook his motionless body. "Cheol! Seungcheol!" She continued to shake him violently, hoping that he will regain consciousness at her strong shaking.
"Help!" She cried helplessly. She felt all scared and fear ate her when she felt Seungcheol not moving in her arms and on every call she makes. After a few minutes she heard footsteps.
"Oppa/Hyung!" Someone called.
Everything went into a blurring motion. She just heard Irene calling their family doctor while Mrs. Siege helped her up. Jeonghan Jun, Mingyu and Dane came all together and the helped in carrying Seungcheol.
She just sat there. Every beat of her heart, she can feel it. She could hear her every breath. She felt like she came back to the time when her Dad was rushed to the hospital, while the doctors were doing their best to revive him. Everything came back to her – the ambulance's noise, people screaming, and the thin sound from the hospital machine indicating that her Dad's heart stopped beating.
While there she was, standing in the corner, doing nothing and just watching. She just stood there as she watched her father died and as her mother closed her eyes.
That's what she's feeling right now while blankly staring at Seungcheol while the doctor was checking on him. Helpless. Powerless. She didn't even felt him having a fever. She just thought of her leaving.
She immediately stood up when she saw the doctor approaching them.
