16: COERCE

"YOU?!"

Seungcheol didn't pay attention to her. He just walked toward her but his eyes were not on her. It's on the two men she was with. Is he more concerned about the ones who kidnapped her?!

"What the hell are you wearing?" Seungcheol asked with a serious face but Taerin can see the smile in his eyes.

She directly averted her gaze before he could catch her gaping at him. She then turned to the two me, and she saw them take off the masks they've been wearing.

"For it to be convincing, right?" said the man who took his mask off first. Her jaw dropped when his face caught her eyes. She knew him. It was Wonho, Seungcheol's classmate all throughout college. She always sees him with Seungcheol.

He was the one who kidnapped her!?

"You said we kidnap her. So kidnap it is!" The other one said while smiling. It's Hyungwon, Mingyu's best friend and Mingyu is Seungcheol's younger brother.

What was he doing here and why the hell is he part of all this stuff?!

She unconsciously wrings her wrists. She didn't think of them to be the ones behind all this. She was so scared. She couldn't believe Seungcheol could do this to her.

Seungcheol held her hands at the speed of light. His face went grim. "Did you hurt her?" he asked clenching his teeth together, his gaze directly into the two other men.

The two looked at each other in shock and immediately shook their heads.

Taerin left shocked when Seungcheol held her shoulders, and moved her from left to right and front to back. Then he grabbed both her arms and started checking them. That's when it hit her that he was checking out her body.

"What are you doing!?" she tried getting his hands off her but nothing happened. Seungcheol's jaw clenched at her action but she doesn't care. He was touching her!

"You're checking out the wrong one, Cheol-ah." Wonho tried entering into the conversation. "We're the ones who got hurt. Look at me, I'm full of bites." He's telling Seungcheol as if he's about to cry.

"If only you didn't scare me like that, then it won't happen at all." She whispered to herself but Seungcheol heard it.

The hell! What these men did was never a good joke to her. She thought it was her last day. She thought she'd end up being thrown on the river.

She shivered at her own creepy thoughts and Seungcheol felt it, causing him to shout again. "I told you not to touch her!" Seungcheol shouted angrily at the two.

"We didn't. Try asking her. Right, miss? She's even the one who kicked us." Hyungwon said.

"Stop shouting, Seungcheol. They didn't do anything to me." She said while trying to let go of Seungcheol's grip on her. "And why are you scolding them? It's your fault in the first place so you should be ashamed of yourself!" She shouted as he let go of her. She faced him. "Why am I here, Seungcheol? Why did you kidnap me?"

Instead of answering her, he turned to the two and signaled them to leave.

"The deal, Cheol-al. Don't forget." Wonho reminded Seungcheol as he walked to the door.

"Shut it will you. Let's just go." Hyungwon said dragging Wonho with him.

Now, they're alone.

Seungcheol's gaze moved back to her and he sighed. "Sit down, Taerin." He said and walked past her.

She didn't listen. She needs to know something more important than to sit down. "Answer me, Seungcheol. Why am I here?"

He stopped walking and slowly turned to her. "I will answer your questions but please, take a seat first. I don't want to have this conversation with you standing. Now sit." He haughtily commands her.
