"DOMINIQUE!"

She Seungcheol yelled. She knew he's running after her so she walked faster to the elevator with her tears rolling down her cheeks like waterfalls.

She's keeping herself from turning back to Seungcheol and beg him to hurt her and leave her again. Hell may freeze but she will never do that.

She won't be returning to the person who let go of her first.

She's close to the elevator when she heard EunBi. "Seungcheol, where are you going?!"

"Let go, EunBi." Irritation was evident in Seungcheol's voice and she heard him call her when the elevator opened. "Taerin!" He called her when she mounded the lift.

Get loss you cheaters!

She pressed the close button several times while praying that Seungcheol won't catch her. The elevator started to close. Yet she saw how scared Seungcheol's face was. Something inside her died down.

The moment the door closed, the shock settled in. Her body trembled as she leaned on the elevator's glass wall while crying.

How many times does she have to cry for her brain to understand that there's nothing left to save? That they are not going to work out anymore?

She immediately wiped her tears away when she noticed the elevator opened. Her bodyguards immediately stood up when she stepped out of the lift but then their feet halted. She realized there must be something on her face that told them she needed space. And she needed it now.

She mentally thanked them for that as she sought for her escape. She breathes in the cold breeze of the wind when she stepped out of the building.

Freedom.

She wanted freedom – from hurt, from the guilt – from all of these. She just wanted to be alone.

She immediately hailed the taxi that passed in front of her. She can leave her car to her bodyguards. Right now, she doesn't care about her car. She just wanted to leave and be gone – away from here.

Thirty minutes later and she found herself alone, kneeling between her father's grave, hugging herself against the cold, crying away all her hurt.

She doesn't know why her mind brought her there. For a while, sitting inside the taxi, circling around made her realize she was lost. She doesn't want to go home to the mansion because she knew Seungcheol will look for her there. She doesn't want to go to places where he can easily find her. She just wants to run away – far far away from him.

"I miss you, Dad." She whispered while hugging her knees. She can only hug herself for comfort.

Maybe she's here because she needs her Dad's strength. She can't call her Mom or Aunt and make them rush home just for her. She just wants to feel the embrace of her father, to hear his voice while saying everything will be okay. Maybe if that happens, she would believe him. Because of how painful she's feeling right now, she doesn't know if she can still make it . . . If she can still put her heart together.
