Seungcheol was in awe with his wife's creative designs as he looked around him. He couldn't be more proud of his wife. In fact, he could already feel his chest burgeoning with pride, only social politeness and etiquette prevent him from shouting that the woman who made all of these wondrous gems and jewelry was his wife.
Her Aunt must be very proud of Taerin, especially her own parents.
His lips curled in disdain as the pang of guilt gripped him all over again. Damn it! He needed a drink. She walked away from that place to get a drink.
He could sense greedy eyes on him as he strode across the crowd. He's not dumb. That's why some business men were here because they want to have some talking with him. Well, bad luck. He was not in for some business negotiation tonight. It's his wife's night and he would totally give her the spotlight she rightfully deserves.
"Dane." He called him when he saw him looking for something or someone. Dane looked at him with apprehensiveness that caused him to frown. "Is it not clear to you that I said you just have to watch from the outside?"
He stared at him for a while, as if measuring her, like he has something to say to him. There was something in his eyes that woke his sleeping fear. He could already hear warning bells ringing inside his mind.
"What is it?" He directly asked while trying to conceal the nervousness he's feeling.
"We saw this at the back of the building."
Dread made him shiver as he looked down at the phone he knew Taerin had. He could feel his face paling. "Where is she?" His voice turning dark and grim as he tasted the metallic taste of fear in his mouth. He got it form Dane's hand and he almost smashed it on the ground when he shook his head.
"Didn't I tell you to guard the whole place?! Why did this happened?!" He gritted. It was a wonder his teeth didn't fall off by the strength of his jaw clenching. "Where's Sire?"
"He left for the comfort room but when he returned . . ."
"Fvcking idiot!" The other visitors near them looked at them at his loud cursing. He pressed a hand to his forehead and tried to rein back his anger and frustration. "I specifically ordered you to stay on your guard!" He hissed.
He swears to God, if something bad happens to Taerin, he would knock the hell out of that idiot bodyguard.
He threw Dane a deadly glare. He immediately stiffened by the strength of his murderous stare. "Are you sure you've looked for her everywhere?"
"We can't find her, Even on the comfort rooms, she's not there."
"Fvck!" He shut his eyes closed. Cold, icy fingers gripped his gut as he imagined Taerin's beautiful face covered with blood. He messed his hair to remove the grudging picture on his mind.
He needed to think, fast! His jaw clenched when a single name appeared on his mind. He only thought of a single person who could be behind all of these.
