Third Person P.O.V

The harsh cold winter of 1918 gradually bloomed in to the warm summer months of 1919. while the war with the red and white army's raged on in Russia. there was newly found peacetime for Britain and the rest of Europe. even though the burses of war that imprinted its self on the land  and the civilians and soldiers alike there was a shining light that there may not ever be a war like that ever again. As they did say "Its the war to end all wars" and when were they ever wrong?   

For Lucia this year was one of the bests firstly it was one of the first new years she has not spent in the trenches. Secondly she has a wonderful new girlfriend and lastly she has found a nice new hobby of tinkering. yes Lucia can now fix up a car in a jiffy all thanks to Aladors for teaching her these helpful tasks. 

Although this has been a great start to the year does not mean the worries of the last year fade away. luckily the group that Lucia, Wionna and Bree messed with has not made a move since the letter telling them that there are many many more of them. because of this eerie silence  Wionna and Bree have been trying to keep tads on the group and get as much info about them as possible. mean while with Lucia she begged Amelia to keep a weapon on her at all times like a gun or a knife. She has also been teaching Luz how to defend herself and how to shoot a gun, even thought Luz dose not like the sound of violence she will do what makes her big sister worry less.

Clink-clack 

Inside a vast room filled to the brim with tools and mashies laid the war veteran making her rounds on a busted car or as some people she knows would call it a automobile. Lucia pushed herself from underneath the vehicle, rolling from underneath it on a wooden attached to four small wheals what she made.  she jumped to her feet and reached in to the car turning the key for the moment of truth. 

The car jumped to life with the engine running and the round front lights flickering on. But just before Lucia could feel happy with herself smoke began to rise under the cars bonnet leading to the engine beginning to choke. Now Lucia could see that all this is going to end in a bag so the Girl quickly jumped behind a small table where she left her empty tea cup and revolver. 

Lucia hid behind this table for a few seconds be for she heard a BANG! She than pocked her head over the table seeing that the  cars bonnet flew half way down the room and the front lights of the car had shattered. 

Lucia: oh BLOODY HELL! 

The Noceda threw her spanner across the room bouncing and sliding across the floor as another presence enters the room. 

???: oh Blimey what a mess you have here 

Lucia immediately turns around facing the person that entered the room. as soon as she saw who it was with out thinking her arm raised up to her head saluting the man. as her hand reached her head she quickly realised that she no longer needs to salute this man and so she awkwardly  moves her arm down.

Alador: you know that you don't need to salute me every time you see me

Lucia: oi its force of habit, It's quite hard to stop after four years of doing it 

Alador: anyway ahem I bet that it is the lest of your worries . looking at that mess you did with that automobile.       

Lucia than turned around once again looking at the mess of the vehicle. quickly becoming embarrass by it. Alador than walked past Lucia  than crouching down and giving the car a good look scanning up and down it. 

Alador: eh the damage is not as bad as I thought 

Lucia: thanks? I guess 

The man then stood back up turning to face Lucia and leaning back against the front of the car. Lucia began to become nerves thinking that he might give her a lecture about how to not blow a car up. but instead the man said.

Alador: so how's my daughter?

Lucia: well you have three so that dose not really narrow it down. 

Alador gave out a small laugh with Lucia's response.

Alador: Ok let me rephrase that. the one you are dating 

Lucia: oh Amelia... yeah she is alright

Alador: good to hear 

the man than turned from Lucia grabbing a spanner from his belt and began fixing the car. as he did this Lucia became nerves and thought happened with out her knowing.

Lucia: h-hey Alador did you t-tell Odalia about me and Amleia

With out stopping what he was doing Alador responded rather quickly.

Alador: oh god no, I would never I too think she would not like the news about you dating Amelia knowing your class and all. 

Silence grew between Alador and Lucia with them both not knowing what to say. Lucia walked up to the car where Alador was working on and crouching down beside him watching him tinker away at the car. 

A few moments went by filled of silence the only thing that could be heard was the creaking of the spanner. more silence filled up until Alador broke it muttering out.

Alador: hey Lucia, do you sometimes feel like you are becoming mad? 

Lucia: what do you mean by that?

Alador took a long and shaky breath in before responding to her.

Alador: like insane, because sometimes I can hear them. the screams and the gunshots of war even though those times have passed but my mined is still in the mud.

Lucia was well speechless she knew what he was going on about and understood what he meant. 

Lucia: heh yeah I know what you mean, Its like every one else is moving forward and well for us all that fought  in the war are standing still and don't under stand why. even though the physical war is done the one in our minds still rages on. 

Alador and Lucia went quiet once again but not for long.

Alador: no wonder Amelia is dating you, you do have a way with words you should be come a public speaker

Lucia could only laugh at Alador's remark. she did not know what that cracked her up so much but it did. and like some sort of disease Alador began to laugh once again filling the room with voice.

Edit: don't know why but this chapter gives of the vibes of the first episode of a season 2
