(Izuku POV)

I walked up the hill to UA- my dream school. All I could think was, Holy crap- this is really happening?! I had been training hard ever sense I got my power- or quirk, but is it really a quirk? Technically not... Well, maybe? I mean- it acts as one, and I'm sure there's a quirk like this somewhere in the world..? I mean, they did have at least one lesson in my last year of primary school about angels... So.. Does that mean that there are more angel quirks out there..?

I felt someone tap my shoulder, "Uhm- excuse me..!"

I turned around to see a brunette who looked to be about my age. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry- I must have been muttering again..!"

She smiled, "Ah- you were, but I was just going to let you know that you were about to run into a pole."

I looked back, and sure enough- there was a pole. Well it was more like a pillar, but it doesn't make a difference.

"Oh! Thank you! Are you going to the UA exams as well?"

"I am, want to walk together? I'm Ochako Uraraka!"

"Oh- sure! I'm Izuku- Izuku Midoriya!"

(Narrator POV)

The two walked up the hill to UA together, explaining their quirks, and why they wanted to go to UA. Ochako explained how her family had gone into a lot of debt and how she wanted to help out.

"I know it doesn't seem very heroic that I'm just in it for the money..." Ochako muttered.

"What do you mean? I think it's very heroic! You want to help your family!" Izuku said, "Oh! We're here! Good luck!"

And with that, the two parted ways. Well- kind of. They were going to the same place, but they just got separated my the mass amounts of people lining up in the halls. The people applying for the hero course all lined up in one of the big hall's, then made their way to any open seat. Everyone was given glasses to wear, which were made by a special quirk, making it so no one could see anyone's paper but their own. Those who wore glasses so they could see were sent to take their test in a separate room.

The written exam passed fairly quickly. It was spent filling in bubbles, and writing proper grammatical terms. There was even an extra packet you could do to get extra points if you finished before the two hours were up.

Izuku finished the main written exam with an hour left. He was pretty good with tests, and he had been studying. He walked up and handed one of the pro's his paper. They handed him back the extra packet and he went back to his seat. Izuku noted that the extra packet was about one page shorter then the main one, as it had only thirty-nine pages.

Izuku began filling in the bubbles and circling the correct answers for the English section of it. Hizashi had been teaching Hitoshi and Izuku how to speak English for quite some time now. They could now speak in splotchy sentences, with lot's of hesitation.

The extra packet of the exam proved to be much more difficult then the main exam, but that was to be expected. Izuku knew that they didn't want one kid to totally flunk the main, and then ace the extra. Even though that could happen, and technically, they could still get in, the school probably didn't want to have to teach their students things you might learn in primary school or junior high.

The test finished after an hour and Izuku had finished with the extra packet. Everyone passed their papers up to the front and headed to the area they were supposed to meet for the practical exam. They were directed to sit in certain spots, where their tickets were waiting for them. Izuku found his spot up on the tenth row and sat down. He was sitting next to a blue and white haired girl wearing a jumpsuit and a boy with black hair wearing a black uniform.
