(Narrator POV)

Class 1A was nervously chatting away outside the gates to UA. Their teacher had told them to meet him there with their bags so they could go to the training camp. Summer break had started, so the gates to UA were locked and a barrier was up.

A bus pulled up to the gate and Shota got out of it. The class immediately shut up to hear what their teacher was going to say.

"Okay problem children, put your bags in the storage area under the bus and get in. Sit down with whoever- I don't care. It's gonna be a long ride so you might want to have something to do on the bus."

The class obeyed and filed on to the bus chattering excitedly.

"Hey Shoto- wanna sit with me?" Izuku chirped.

Shoto nodded and they sat down next to each other, Izuku on the window and Shoto on the isle. They started talking and Shoto noticed that Izuku was practically vibrating with excitement.

"Hito gets to stay home today and come to the camp tomorrow. I assume that's because of our parents but I'm not sure. Dad's been hyping up this trip for a while but when I told him how excited I was he had a... devilish smirk on his face..." Izuku hummed.

Shoto nodded and started talking about how Natsuo had put too much garlic in the food last night and Fuyumi had practically attacked him. "She doesn't like it when food isn't prepared properly.." He explained.

The two of them talked for a few hours before they both fell into a light sleep along with the rest of their class.

"Oi- problem children. Wake up."

As the class jolted awake, Shota explained that they were at a "rest stop" and would all need to get out of the bus. As everyone got out of the bus and stretched, a group of oddly dressed people walked towards them.

"Okay children, these are the Pussycats. They're heroes who are going to be helping train you all."

The Pussycats introduced themselves and soon everyone was in conversation with each other. They didn't seem to notice when the adults started to get on the bus and close the doors..

"Hey guys..?" A nasally voice piped up, "I think they left us."

Everyone turned to look at Minoru and where he was pointing. Sure enough the heroes had gotten on the bus and were driving away.

"Good luck! Try to make it to the camp by three!" The Pussycats cheered as they waved at the students.

Izuku's eyes widened as he realized one last thing.

"Get away from the edge! Pixi-bob's quirk is earth manipulation!"

Even as the class rushed away from the edge, Pixi-bob had managed to slide them down into the forest. Izuku spread his wings and grabbed onto as many of his classmates that he could. When the dust settled, Izuku flew back down to the ground, carefully setting Mina, Hanta, and Yuga on the forest floor.

When everyone dusted off their clothes and looked around, Izuku explained that they needed to find their way to the camp as soon as possible.

"Koda-kun, could you ask some animals to help us out, and Shoji-kun, I'll fly you up to the top of a tree if you could keep a look out. Jiro-san, can you listen for any dangers?"

As Koji talked to the animals, Kyoka stuck her jacks into the ground. Izuku picked up Mezou and flew him up to the top of a tall tree. Mezou made most of his limbs have eyes at the end as he looked out over the forest.

Izuku flew back down and began thinking of their next steps when Kyoka shouted that there was stomping up ahead.

"I'll go check it out!" Toru exclaimed as they watched her uniform disappear from her body and fall on the ground. They heard her running in the direction of the stomping while Izuku devised a plan. They would need the people with longer range attacks at the front, closely backed by the people with short range. Then they would need the people who could transport the others quickly and the lookouts to be either in the back or in the trees.
