I smile at the nickname and set my phone down. I can't wait for this date. But first I've gotta go to Texas...ugh why now!? I sigh and shut my eyes and drift off to sleep.

POV JJ

I woke the next morning at 5:15 and made breakfast and went about my morning routine. I opted out of a run because I've got to go into work today to go over the Dock's case at 8. After getting ready in navy jeans and black button up, I tied my hair up in my signature ponytail. It was 6 so I went into my office and put together all the files and noted I and Emily had thought up. After organizing them into folders and grabbing my laptop and stuffing them into my brown satchel. I decided to head out since it takes about 25 minutes to get there and I was now, 7:30. Getting everything I needed I walked out closing and locking the door behind me. Riding the elevator down and walking to my car, I set everything in the passenger side. But before riding off I sent Ashley a quick text.

Good morning!
I though I would wait a bit
before texting, didn't want
to wake you up :)

Just wanted to let you know
I'm headed to work to prep.
I'll let you know when I'm done!

I sent my phone I the cupholder and started my car and driving to work.

About 25 minutes later I reached the FBI building and pulled into the BAU designated spot. Turning off my car and getting out I make my way through the building. Scanning my ID badge when needed. Going up the elevator to our floor I see Hotch and Rossi in the round table room and make my way over there. "Good morning guys!" I say as I walk into he room. "Oh! Hello Jennifer!" Rossi greets. "Good morning JJ" Hotch says in his usual "tough guy" voice. "Is Em here yet?" I ask. "Oh please, you know Emily better than anyone." Rossi says amusingly. I sigh and say, "right, she'll be here in like 10 then" Rossi chuckles and even Hotch cracks a small smile. "It's alright we can just set everything up and by the time she gets here we'll be ready to start. And we are also waiting on Garcia. She is just grabbing a few thing, should be up soon." Hotch says. I nod and start to grab my files and since Pen is here she'll have all the technical stuff so no need for my laptop. I take a seat and start to organize all the files to make sure everything is in order. No I am not OCD. I just like everything in order, no mess, no way to forget anything. It's just practical really. We make some small conversation and 5 minutes later Pen walks in with a smile and her colorful pink dress. "Hello my beautiful friends! I've got everything all set and ready when you are Hotch. Oh and Rossi I got the file you sent over and ...oh! JJ! My beautiful soul oh how I've missed you!' Penelope says and she sets everything down in a hurry and comes and hugs me. "Oh...morning Pen it's we talked a couple days ago " I tell her. "ugh yes! But you were gone for like ever and I was stuck here. I miss you in the flesh!" She exclaims. I chuckled and say, "missed you too Pen " she smiles then goes over to figure whatever it is she was brought up. The thing is Penelope was stuck here in her little hole while we were away on our case and it was a long case. Only face time was when I could see her. I miss her crazy personality.

We are almost all set to star when Emily busts in, in a frenzy. "OMG! I'm so sorry I woke up late, then Sergio was being all moody and he knocked over a glass. And...well nevermind. I'm here we can start! Oh and good morning!" She rambles out. The. Then she turns to me and not so quietly says, "you have everything right? I may or may not have grabbed the wrong folder in my hurry." She asks worriedly. I laugh lightly and nod, "don't worry one of us has to be prepared." I say and she rolls her eyes but smiles at me. "Ok let's get started" Hotch says I can see the amusement in his eyes and Rossi has a smirk on his face. I can't help but smile before we get serious.

It's been 5 hours and we think we have a solid plan down. Everyone agreed with my theory and we even drove deeper into it. But we can only get so far without Docks. We have a list of questions we need answered but basically going to feel him out and see what I can get out of him. I just got back to my apartment and I'm tried. But I promised everyone I would see them before I left tomorrow morning. So I pulled out my phone to texted Lizzie
