Long 1st Week

Hey guys this is the start of week one recovery

"Ok, I'm sorry I'll try not to push so much. I just really love you and I breaks my heart being able to do nothing and seeing you in so much pain" she says and I kiss my head again. "I know I'm sorry. I'm fine, ok. The second I'm not you will know. I'm going to be stubborn but I'll try to let you in" I say and she leans up to kiss my lips gently. "Love you Jennifer Jareau" she says looking at me softly. "I love you Ashley Olsen" I say back in the same tone. She kisses me again and then lays down snuggling back up. I close my eyes and take a breath. I'm fine. You're fine JJ. You can't break. I'm fine.

POV JJ

The next morning I woke up in a lot of pain. Maybe skipping the high dose of meds was a bad idea I think as I open my eyes. I glance to the side and see it empty. I groan and reach for my phone. Ugh 10!? Since when? I think and sit up slowly. I sigh when I see my crutch by the bed and reach to grab it. I stand up slowly and hobble to the bathroom to do my business. After an annoyingly long time I make my way back to the bed. I don't have any energy and I'm so tired. I sit back down and close my eyes while leaning against the headboard. "Hey baby" I hear Ashley's soft voice say. "I made some breakfast" she says and I open my eyes and eye the food then glance at her with a raised eyebrow. "Ok, ok Lizzie dropped off groceries and I just put stuff in a bowl like she said." She says sheepishly making my chuckle a bit. "Well regardless on how you got there, thank you" I say and she smile and sits down on the edge of the bed on my side. "how do you feel?" She asks while stroking my hair. I sigh and glance at the food, "I'm a bit sore" I say and she jumps up a bit. "Here, your meds" she says grabbing the pill box and opening today taking out a single dose. "here, but make sure to eat a bit after so you don't get sick" she says and stands up. "I'm going to help Lizzie, I'll be back in a bit ok?" She asks and I nod. She smiles and kisses my head walking out. I eye the pills and slip the two I haven't taken into my pocket and take the other two. If I remember correctly the red one should help with inflammation but I'm sure the antibiotics will be just fine. Yes I'm not taking any pain meds. I know crazy but I'm not about to take an opioid I don't need it. I eat a bit of food but not much as I just don't feel good. Speaking of not feeling good I feel like I'm about to puke so I hurry myself to the bathroom and shut the door. I make it to the toilet and puke up the little food I have had and also blood...perfect. I wipe my face of blood and spit. Once done I put the pills in the toilet and flush it. I put burning body up and rinse my mouth out and brush my teeth. After deeming myself not trash I head back to bed. I set the food tray aside and grab my phone seeing Hotch texted me saying to call him when I was up. I sighed and hit his contact. "Hey Jennifer, how are you feeling?" He asks and I roll my eyes. "Fantastic" I deadpan and he chuckles a bit. "I was able to get them to back off. We made a report with all the information you and Morgan gave, plus our own and they are going to release some of it. Hopefully that'll clear most of this up." He says and I sigh. "ok, that's good" I say and he hums. "You just get rest. Hopefully you'll be Brandon new next year. Let me know how you're progressing and if you need anything. The team is here for you. You're family ok?" He says and I nod my head even though he can't see me. "I will. Thank you Aaron." I say and we say our goodbyes. I set my phone down and let a breath out. I'm interrupted by a cough making my body jolt. "shit..." I groan when I see blood on my hand. My head shoots up when I hear footsteps so I quickly rub the blood off and put my hands under the comforter. "Hey! How are you thins morning?" Liz says and her and Ash walk in. I smile at her. "I'm fine Liz. Hotch just called" I say and they both sit on the bed waiting for me to continue. "He said they got it all sorted for now and I should just focus on recovering. He'll let me know if anything changes" I tell them and they both smile. "That's great" Ash says and I nod. "Ok well I'm hogging you today since I'm leaving in a couple days. Ashley you can just deal with it" Liz says as she crawls into bed next to me and snuggles up making us both laugh. She fake pouts and groans, "fineeeee. I'll just be mopping in the other room if you need me" she sighs and heads out making Liz and I laugh. "What are you doing?" I ask her. "movie?" She suggests and I nod. She turns on a random movie and she just sit with each other. About halfway through Liz turns to me, "Rose, Scarlett and I are going to stop for breakfast tomorrow before we leave. Rose wants to see you before we go." She says and I hum. "I'm really glad you're ok" she whispers and I turn to her to see tears in her eyes. "hey, hey no tears. I'm ok Liz. I'm fine I'm right here" I say gently while whipping her cheeks. She smiles and hugs me gently. "I don't know what I would do without you. You're my rock" she says in my neck and I kiss her head and hold her tight. "I'm right here. Just look a little rough now, but I'll be good as new by your birthday. I already have something planned and I need to walk to do it." I say and she looks up at me with a smile. "Ok, you promise to call and text me about how you're doing?" She asks and I nod. "Promise. I'll see when you get back ok?" I say and she nods and snuggles into me again.
