Boring Day & Babysitting

Hey guys! This one is going to have some humor and just some unfortunate incidents that occur. We even get to see some protective JJ over Rose!

We lay there in silence untill I feel Ashley's breathing even out telling me she's sleeping. I stroke her hair and kiss her head. "I don't know what will happen and I don't know what the next case will be. But I do know I want to be with you, I...I love you. I know it's to soon and I know you can't hear me, but I love you and I'll always fight to get home to you, and I'll fight to gain your love no matter what. Good night love." I whisper softly against her head. Placing one last kiss I lean back against my pillow and let sleep wash over me.

POV JJ

The next morning I woke up and got to spend time with Ashley, it was so domestic. We made breakfast together, got ready and we kissed each other goodbye for work. I feel better now that I got all my emotions off my chest, even if she didn't hear any of them. I'm still sore and achy but it's nothing I can't handle. Today was boring and I was filling out paperwork and checking for cases that could use our team. I had texted Lizzie and Ash throughout the day but after lunch they got busy so I've been here, back pain and all. I was just about to go get lunch when my phone started to ring, unknown number huh. I picked up my phone and answered it, "agent Jareau" I said cautiously. "Hello? Is this Jennifer Jareau? This is west side elementary school I'm calling about Rose Johansson - Olsen." She said. I furrowed my eyebrows. "This is she. Is Rose ok?" I asked worriedly. "Yes, she's ok. Would you mind coming down and picking her up? I can explain everything once you get here. There was a slight altercation, everyone is ok." She explains. "Uh ya, do her parents know?" I ask confused on why she's calling me. "We were informed by her parents last week that they will both be filming and have busy schedules, so they put you down for their person to call if anything happens." She explains. I take a breath and sigh, "ya, ok let me tell my boss and I'll be there in 15." I say, we say our goodbyes and hang up. I get up with a groan and glance up at Hotch's office, great I have to clime stairs. Yay! I think dryly. "You ok JJ?" Reid asks, shit I though everyone left for lunch. "I'm fine, did you not leave for lunch?" I ask him, "oh I did but I came back to make sure you got some food. Did you eat?" He asks worriedly. I smile at him, "I'm ok Spence. I do have to go though Rose's school called, I have to let Hotch know." I say, "is she ok?" She asks, "ya they said she was fine." I say walking to the stairs. "I'll let Hotch know, you shouldn't walk up the stairs. Go, go get Rose. Call if you need anything" he says with a smile. I send him a grateful smile, "thank you so much, you're the best Spence." I say while grabbing my things. "I know now go." He says and I wave goodbye. I make my way down to the parking garage and to my car. Should I let Liz and Scarlett know? No, they have me listed for a reason. I'll just see what the deal is before getting them worried for nothing. I conclude and start my car and drive to her school.

I pulled up to Rose's school and parked in the visitor lot. Since it was windy today I had brought my FBI windbreaker with me. I make my way to the front door, "hello, my name is Jennifer Jareau. I got a call about Rose Johansson - Olsen." I say to the front desk lady. "ah yes! Mrs. Jareau. You can take a seat and principal Thomas will be right out." She says kindly. I smile and take a seat on one of the chairs in the lobby. About 3 minutes later a tall red head dressed like librarian minus the glasses, comes walking out. "You must be Mrs. Jareau? Lovely to meet you." She greets happily while holding her hand out. "yes that's me. Nice to meet you as well..." I say trailing off not knowing her name while I shake her hand. "Oh how rude, Katherine Thomas. Please right this way." She says and turns to walk into the office. "Have a seat." She says as we walk in. I look over at Rose who is sitting in the other chair looking down. "right. So like the person said on the phone there was a slight altercation on the playground with rose and another boy during recess." She starts and I look over and rose who is still looking down. "Rose would you like to tell your Aunt what happened?" She asks Rose. She looks up and nods softly and turns to me, "we were playing, my friend Allie and I, when Henry came up to us and started to say mean things to Allie. I told him to stop and leave us alone, but he wouldn't. He pushed Allie so I kicked him in the nuts." She finishes. I use all my training to keep a straight face and not laugh or high five her. I look to Katherine. "So Rose is in trouble for standing up for her friend? What exactly is happening with this Henry kid?" I say and I see Rose smile slightly in the corner of my eye. "Well, we talked to the other kids and Allie and everyone agreed with what Rose just told you. Henry got a call from his parents and will be receiving his punishment. But unfortunately we do not condone violence here Mrs. Jareau. So Rose will have to write an apology and miss the rest of the day. She is welcome to come back tomorrow with her written apology for kicking Henry." She says. I just raise an eyebrow, "ok. I'll make sure she writes the an apology and I'll make sure she knows this type of behavior isn't right." I say and Rose bows her head again. "Alright. Thank you Mrs. Jareau for coming in. I apologize from taking away from your job. Have a nice day and I'll see you tomorrow Rose." She says. I bid her goodbye and Rose says a soft one then we head out to my car. I help Rose in and make sure she's all set and get in the front. I turn to her slowly, "Rose can you look at me?" I say gently. She slowly raises her head. "Did you kick him hard?" I ask and she furrows her eyebrows, "yes, he fell to the ground." She says confused. I smile, "good job monkey, you'll make a great FBI agent" I say and she smiles. "I know! I just did want you taught me to!" She said proudly and I smile at her turning around and staring the car. "Don't get too happy, your mom's aren't going to be happy." I say and I see her grimace and I let a laugh out. "let's go to my place, is uncle Trent watching Red?" I ask her. "Ya he's got him. Can we watch Bones?" She asks excitedly. I laugh, "once we've got this apology written." I say and she groans but agrees.
