POV JJ

We just landed back in New York on our air strip. I've gotten no sleep, all I see is Docks' face and blood everywhere. Hotch had called us before we boarded that the local PD found the hearts and confirmed the two victims we suspected. We are headed straight to the BAU to debrief with the whole team.

Well that was awful, the debrief was quick but we needed to fill out lots of paperwork. Hotch tried to send us home but I'm not about to pass up a distraction. But speaking of home I do need to text Lizzie and Ashley that I'm back... I'll do that once I get home. It's about 7pm once we finish up and Hotch gave us time off unless a case comes around, so I can enjoy that... I could tell they didn't believe me when I said I was fine, but I'm glad they didn't push me. I just need to deal with this on my own. I pulled up at my apartment and went up. I tossed my bag in my room and went to shower and change for the night. Once set for bed I did my night routine and slid under the covers. I'm not really hungry, I haven't eaten much the past 2 days but how do you expect me to?

I just laid in bed, not being able to sleep. I wanted to text Liz but it's 1am now. I decided to text them tomorrow... Well now today that I'm home. Cuz I knew they would want to see me and I needed some time to myself. Finally closing my eyes I drift off into an uneasy sleep.

I groaned, I feel to tired but I can't go back to sleep. It's...great 5am only 4 hours. not bad, could be worse. I decided to go on a run to clear my mind. Getting up and throwing on some shorts and a tee, I grabbed my head phones and phone. grabbing my keys and slipping on my shoes I head out, locking the door behind me. I shuffle my playlist and begin to run, I don't know where to but I just need to move. I've been running for a bit, the sun is now up and I'm about ready to drop. I decided to walk back after stopping for a coffee and a bite to eat. I spot a small little cafe and head in. Ordering a black coffee and blueberry muffin, I take them to go and eat and drink on my way back. I just made it back and it's now...8am I shut my door and slipped my shoes off and got into the shower right away. after a good 10 minute shower I dress and do my morning routine. heading to the living room I plop on the couch and decide now is a good time to text Liz and Ash. I open up my messages and click on Liz first.

been able to talk a lots
happened in the past
couple days. But I'm back
Got in late last night.

I smiled, I knew this would happen that is why I waited. I felt a little bad about lying about when we got back but I need time to myself. I then hit Ashley's name.
