Welcome home...?

Hey! It's time for move in day!!! And happy belated Birthday to an actual Goddess, Scarlett Johanson! I wanted to get this chapter out yesterday, but life happened.

POV Ashley

Yesterday was amazing and I couldn't love Jay more. I can't believe we'll be living together! This morning was great too. We spent some time just cuddled up but eventually she had to get up and go to work. Since MK and I don't have any big meetings or anything I'm staying home today and tomorrow to get my... Our house ready. I called Lizzie and she and Scarlett are coming over at noon with lunch. MK has some things to go at the office but will be here around noon as well. That leaves me with a few hours, so I start with sorting and cleaning out those rooms we talked about. There's not much in them just old things I forgot about. I'm in what's going to be her office and there's a lot of sewing stuff, so I get to work on boxing and sorting what I want. A few hours later I finish up with sorting and cleaning the room and it looks nice and clean, ready for Jay's stuff to be put in. I smile and go to grab the boxes I push outside to put somewhere else, but I hear a shout from the front door. Guess they're here, I think to myself and chuckle. I make my way to the front and smile at them. "Hey guys! Thanks for coming to help and bringing food." I say going to hug Lizzie then Scarlett.  "Hey, you're favorite is right here" MK sasses and we all laugh. "Mmm, Jay's not here" I say with a smirk after pulling out of our hug. She scuffs and we laugh again. "You guys literally work together" Lizzie says rolling her eyes. We both huff and then walk off to the kitchen to eat.

"Ok, so what's the plan?" Scarlett asks. "Well, there are three rooms I would like to sort and clean out for Jay. Well two now I cleaned what's going to be her office out. Um.... Closet space and drawers." I say and MK laughs. "Well, she's getting like a drawer. She does know she's dating someone in the fashion business" she laughs causing the rest of us too. "Poor Jen, she'll have to live out of her go bag" Lizzie jokes. "No, no she'll have space. I have the little dresser I don't really use I could clean what's in there out and she can have that" I say and Scarlett laughs, "and the closest?" She asks. "Maybe like a foot of space" I mumble, and they all laugh making me huff. "She can use the closet in the spare room" MK says and we nod, I know it was a joke, but it might not be, I have a lot of clothes. After we go over the game plan and finish eating, we split up and start to work through the rooms. MK and I taking what will be her gym and Scarlett and Lizzie take the library, which will be her music, library and little getaway room.

Around dinner time we get done and take a break in the living room. "So, are you excited?" Scarlett asks and a huge smile makes its way on my face. "Ya, I can't wait." I say giddily making the three laugh. "When is she moving her stuff in?" Lizzie asks. "Two days. She's getting her team to gel so we can get it done fast." I say and they nod. "Let's order some food. Then we can start on the next project." MK says and we all agree. The food came 30 minutes later and as we ate and talked about what we were doing to the rooms. "Do they need to be painted or spruced up?" Scarlett asks. "I think just some decorations, but I want her to put whatever she wants in there. She already like the look of the library so that doesn't have to change. She may but some other stuff in there, but she can do whatever she wants. We also have to fix my kitchen apparently" I say and Lizzie cheers, "finally! That is the most dysfunctional kitchen ever" she says, and I roll my eyes at her. "What? There is no way you would approve if you used it. Who puts the silverware in two separate Drawers!?" She says throwing her hands up. Scarlett and MK laugh, and I huff crossing my arms. "Hey! I never had to cook or anything that is what you two and Mom is for" I Defend making them all laugh, and Lizzie roll her eyes. "Can we do the other stuff tomorrow? I have a food coma" MK whine making us laugh. "Ya the next couple tasks are going to take lot of time." I say. "What's next?" Scarlett asks. "Well, we need to make her room in my closet and then find some place to put extra things. She sent me a list of everything she has so I'll probably donate any duplicates of things and go through what I have to see what I want to keep. "Oh, I want to make room for her in my garage for her car and then tools and stuff she has." I say and think of anything else. "Oooh no, the shed in the back and be hers for all her stuff. I actually don't know what's in there" I say, and they chuckle. "Ok that sounds reasonable." Lizzie says and we all nod. "Well, we are all staying Brandon has the kids and I it's easier." Mk says and Liz and Scarlett agree. We end up watching a movie then heading to bed after needing sleep for the next two days.
