On The Thin Ice

Chapter 9

I'm patiently waiting for Miss Ragel to come outside, ilang minuto na yata akong naghihintay hindi pa rin siya lumalabas. Bakit ba ang tatagal ng mga babae kumilos? I'm about to go inside her office nang may tumawag sa pangalan ko.

Not again. This woman is really loud.

"What are you doin' here, Rai baby?" she asked, seryoso lang naman akong tumingin sa kanya. 

"What do you need?" I asked her instead, and looked at her boredly.

"Grabe ka, purkit lumapit may kailangan agad?" sabi nito at napahawak pa sa dibdib.

"Shut up, leave me alone." I coldy said.

Ngumisi lang naman siya sa sinabi ko at mas lumapit sa'kin. I looked at her and I can say na maganda siya. He's a half Filipino/ Spanish that's why she knows how to speak tagalog but I'm not interested in her. Hindi ko nararamdaman sa kanya 'yong nararamdaman ko pag malapit sa'kin si Ragel.

"Inlove ka na ba sa'kin niyan?" she playfully asked as she laughed in her own question.

I sighed, ohh god this bitch.

"Btw, are you busy? Let's have dinner." nakangiting sabi nito at tinataas baba pa ang kilay.

"No, thanks" tipid na sabi ko.

"Maybe next time? Okay, gotta go" she said and quickly kissed my cheeks.

I glared at her when she did that but she just laughed. Ba't ba ang hilig mangyakap at halik ng babaeng 'to?

"Take care, Rai" she lastly said bago tuluyang naglakad palayo sa'kin.

"What a flirt"

Napatingin naman ako sa babaeng nagsalita mula sa likod ko. As I looked at her, there's no emotions that can be seen in her eyes. Ito na naman 'yong pakiramdam na parang nakagawa ako ng kasalanan kahit wala naman. Ito na naman 'yong kaba na siya lang 'yong nakakagawa sa'kin.

"Take care, Rai" she murmured

She rolled her eyes on me bago nagsimulang maglakad paalis. Anong flirt? Wala naman akong nilalandi ah. Napailing nalang ako at nagsimula nang sumunod sa kanya. I crossed my arms while walking. Nasa kanya lang naman ang atensiyon ko habang naglalakad siya. The way she walked is like a super model.

She stopped in front of her car when we finally reached at the parking lot.

"Go home" she said in a cold voice.

She's about to open her car, nagsalita ako na ikinatigil niya.

"How? I don't have a car" balewalang sabi ko.

"Don't you know how to commute?" she asked na ikinailing ko.

"Then call that Leroux your babe or that Atty. Infantes your baby or maybe your other girls and dogs" she bitterly said as she raise her eyebrows.

"What about them?" I asked.

"Call them to fetch you" mataray na sabi nito.

"I don't have phone with me" I boredly said.

"Are you that poor?" she frustratingly said.

I just shrugged my shoulder as she glared at me before she went inside her car. I'm just standing here outside as she starts the engine.

"What are you still doing there? Hop in!" she irritatedly said. 

Pumasok naman ako agad sa passenger seat at nagsimula na siyang magdrive.
Wala ni isa mang nagsasalita sa'min, naka focus lang siya sa daan habang nag dadrive. I felt sleepy, I began yawning na ikinatingin niya sa'kin.
