The urge to go back to my room and read there suddenly fade away because of what happened inside the hallway instead of walking back to my room I went to the garden Atreus made for me.
I placed the blanket and sat there, I heaved a deep sigh before opening the book and so I started reading not minding anything, Atreus made this area forbidden from everyone unless they have my permission that way they can only enter, I don't know but i didn't argue with Atreus on that one.
"What are you reading?" A deep voice suddenly appeared.
"A book from your library do you want to see it?" I replied.
Atreus went inside the blanket he sat down. "No, continue it, I will sleep on your lap." He replied without hearing anything from he made my lap his pillow while facing me.
Hinayaan ko s'ya sa kung anong gusto n'ya, humiga s'ya ng kumportable saka unti unting pumikit, Atreus Ludvik Safronov really respect my space, even though he's funny and always do whatever he wants he stays silent whenever I'm reading or I'm doing something serious, nilulugar n'ya ang kakulitan.
I lifted the book in front of my face holding it using my one hand with the spine on my fingers and one to flip the pages, I combed Atreus hair using my other free hand so he could sleep smoothly, he groaned at my sudden contact and even turned around so his face would be in my stomach.
"Atreus, do you know Navena?"
"Navena who?"
"Your head maid."
He turned to face me, he opened one of his eye while the other one is in squirt.
"I have a head maid?" His voice sounded shock.
I wetted my lower lip. "Yeah, don't you know her?" Was it possible to not know your personal staffs.
He shake his head while still laying in my lap like a kid. "Hindi po," He paused. "bakit inaway ka ba nun? Suntukin ko na ba?"
I flickered his forehead. "Childish, forget it, I just want to ask wether she's bothering you or not?"
"Nope, Hindi ko nga maalala kung sino 'yan eh kung hindi mo sinabi, bakit? Did she do something? Are you alright?" Bigla s'yang umayos ng upo saka hinawakan ang mga balikat ko at pinaharap sa kanya.
He examined me like a doctor. "Wala bang masakit sa'yo?" He asked softly. Now I feel bad for asking that kind of question.
I should've stayed silent. "No, is there someone capable of hurting me?" I asked with a joke mannerisms.
"Taleigha, Hindi ako nagbibiro. Ano ginawa ng babaeng 'yon sa'yo? Sa sobrang tahimik mo impossibleng magtatanong ka ng bagay na hindi kritikal." He eyed me from head to toe.
I smiled. "It's something you don't need to concern yourself, come here." I patted my lap without any hesitation he layed down again.
"Matutulog na ulit ako gisingin mo na lang ako kung ako na ba ang dahilan ng pag ngiti mo sa araw araw." He chuckled before closing his eyes.
He was smiling, I stared at him until he fall asleep without any beat, how can someone be soft and dangerous at the same time? How can someone like Atreus be paired with a person like me.
He's so cute, I don't even know if I would considered this a luck or what, anyway, the reason; I don't know.
Until lunch I didn't wake up Atreus, I just let him sleep and relax all the way he wants, everything went smoothly, our not so short vacation was full of fun, thanks to Atreus Ludvik Safronov who made everything memorable for me.
