Christian was finally back in Milwaukee after his away games and the All-Star game. He didn't have an off day here in Milwaukee until mid August so he suggested we'd have our date after one of his games. I didn't mind because I was actually excited for our date. He had a game today with the Dodgers but he said he'd be over after the game.
For our date, I invited him over for dinner. He was a well-known baseball player and I know that he likes keeping his personal life private, so I thought it would be a good idea to invite him over and cook him some dinner.
Kalen was in Minnesota for an away game with his summer team. They left on Friday and are supposed to come back tomorrow afternoon since the team always liked to explore the cities they go to. I thought it would be a perfect time to invite Christian over because I have yet to tell Kalen about me talking to Christian Yelich.
Christian was supposed to come over after his game and it was right now 3 o'clock. I decided to make my famous chicken parmesan. Kalen always said that it was the best food I knew how to make so I wanted to give it a try for our dinner date. I also decided to get us some wine but I also did get some other drinks just in case he couldn't or didn't want to drink alcohol.
I bought some candles as well as a new table cover. I was definitely trying to make my apartment look good for our date night. I was already an over achiever when I did things but now, I had this thought that everything had to be perfect. I wanted Christian to have a good time and I wanted him to like me.
Over the past few weeks of us talking and texting, I have got to know Christian in a more personal way. I always knew what Kalen would tell me which was mostly all baseball like his stats and how he was on his way to being MVP. But after these few weeks, I have gotten to know what Christian likes, what he dislikes, what his childhood was like, his favorite memories, and much more. I've really grown to like him a lot and I wanted to make this date the best first date it could be.

I was just now getting out of the shower and getting dressed for our date tonight. Christian's game had already finished and he had texted me that he was heading home to get ready and then he'd be right over. It was so hard to pick a good outfit for tonight because I always overthought a lot of my decisions when it came to things like this. It was my biggest problem. I'm very undecisive.
I finally made up my mind and picked a nice black dress that didn't show too much but it was still cute. I decided to pair it with some nice heels that I had and picked a few bracelets from the small amount of jewelry I had.

I sat down on my floor and started to do my makeup in front of my mirror. I know I'm not the only one that does this. I decided to go with a natural look for my makeup and just fixed up my curls a little bit.
After I was done getting ready, I checked the time and also noticed that Christian had texted me that he was on his way 5 minutes ago. I responded back to him and went to make sure that everything was clean and set up for our date.
