I felt like absolute crap this morning. I woke up and immediately had to run to the bathroom and throw up. I had really bad stomach pain and my head was pounding. I was supposed to go out with Christian today since he was back from being on the road and had an off day today but I had to cancel with him because I didn't feel good at all.
Kalen was at school at the moment since school had started a couple days ago so that meant I was home alone. I had a small trashcan on the floor next to my bed just in case I had to throw up and I was just laying in bed right now. I didn't want to move and I barely had any energy to move even if I wanted to.
As I was about to fall asleep, I heard a loud knock on the apartment door and I groaned. Who could possibly even be here? I fought the urge to just not answer and instead fall asleep but I decided to just get up and see who it was.
I slowly walked towards the door and opened it without even checking who was first. When I looked up, it was Christian with a small smile on his face and a bag in hand.
"Hello gorgeous, how are you feeling?" He asked as he walked in and I shrugged.
"I feel like I'm dying." I told him, exaggerating a bit since it wasn't that bad but I still felt really bad.
Christian ran his hand through my hair and kissed my forehead. "Poor baby. I got you some food because I know you haven't eaten anything yet." He said, holding up the bag he was holding.
"You didn't have to." I told him as I leaned my head on his chest.
"I know but I wanted to." He said. "I got you some chicken soup since it's supposed to be good for you when you're sick."
I was really appreciative for him right now. I didn't really have energy to get up and make myself any food and I was definitely starving.
"Thank you, baby. I really appreciate it." I said to him, looking up at him.
"Of course, baby. As your boyfriend, I'm here to make you feel better when you're sick." He said and placed a small kiss on my lips.
"Can we eat this in my room?" I asked him and he nodded. Christian and I walked towards my room and he laid down next to me as I ate my soup that he bought for me. "Do you want some?" I asked him.
Christian shook his head and said, "No it's okay, baby. I ate already but thank you." I nodded and continued to eat as Christian laid down next to me on his phone.
I finished eating and placed the plate on my bedside table. I laid down and cuddled up to Christian, laying my head on his chest and looking at his phone. "What are you doing?" I asked him.
"I'm just reading this article about the players in the running for MVP this year." He told me, moving his hand to my back and rubbing my back. "Apparently I'm one of those players."
"Rightfully so." I told him, looking up at him with a smile. "You've worked so hard and you deserve it so much."
"Thank you, baby." He said as he put his phone down and wrapped his arms around me. "You know if I do end up winning MVP, I definitely want you there with me."
"I would love to be there." I told him. "Where would that be?" I asked.
Christian thought about it and said, "The location changes every year but I think this year it's going to be in New York."
I nodded and said, "I'd have to see because I still have Kalen to watch over."
"He could come too. He's like my little brother, I'd love to have him there." Christian said and I smiled at him.
"I know, but we'd have to see if he has anything important at school during that time." I told him and Christian nodded, understanding. "What are you going to do during the off season?" I asked him.
"I think I'm going to stay here in Milwaukee for a little bit with you before going back to California." He said and I nodded. "I was also wondering if maybe you and Kalen would want to come down to California during Christmas time? My mom would love to have you guys over."
I smiled at him and nodded. "I would love to and I'm sure Kalen would as well. It's always been just us two so it'd be nice to spend Christmas with you and your family." I told him.
"Well my mom is dying to meet you so I know she'd be happy to have you there." He told me and I chuckled. "But I'm sure you guys will meet before the season even ends because I think she's planning on coming down to Milwaukee sometime soon."
"I can't wait to meet your mom. She sounds amazing and I have to thank her for raising such an amazing man." I said to him.
Christian smiled at me and kissed me. After separating from the kiss he said, "She is amazing and I know you guys will get along so well."
I nodded and cuddled into him some more. We stayed in comfortable for a couple minutes just enjoying each other's company. I couldn't help but think about the event a couple nights ago when Christian said 'I love you'. We had yet to talk about that and neither of us had brought it up. I really wanted to know if he meant it but I wasn't sure how to ask him.
"Babe?" I said and I heard a hum from him. "I want to ask you something." I said, looking up at him to see him looking at me.
"What is it?" He asked me.
"Well... a couple nights ago when you were in Washington, you said something before hanging up the phone." I started and saw that he started to get a bit nervous. "I wanted to know if you actually meant it."
Christian stayed quiet for a little bit as he looked to be lost in his mind right now. I had no idea what he was thinking or even what he was going to say. Due to his quietness, even I started to get a little bit nervous.
I felt Christian take a deep breath and then he nodded. "If you're talking about me saying I love you, then yes I meant that." He told me and I smiled at him. "Rayleen, I've really fallen in love with you and I truly do love you."
Hearing him say that gave me a little bit of more energy. Of course I still felt sick and my head was still hurting but I felt a bit more energized. I sat up on my knees and looked at him with a smile.
I ended up holding his face in my hands and placed my lips onto his. We started to kiss passionately and Christian ended up moving me so that I was now straddling him. His hands rested on my lower back.
This was the most contact we've had with each other since we started dating. Of course we've kissed many times since we started dating but we never went further than that. The night I stayed at his house after he asked me to be his girlfriend, we just watched movies and cuddled on his bed until we fell asleep.
We finally separated from the kiss and I smiled at him before saying, "I love you too, Christian. I've loved you for a while now."
Author's Note:
*SMILES WIDELY* Love is in the air!!! Christian and Rayleen have admitted to loving each other and get closer and more touchy everyday. This was a bit of a shorter chapter but we will be back to long ones in the upcoming chapters.
Question of the chapter...
Have you ever been in love?My answer...
I can't say that I have truly been in love because at the age that I thought I was in love, I was too young to truly understand what love was. It was my first relationship and I had a lot of love for this guy. I still do care about him and we're still friends but I'm not sure if it was true love. I still don't really know what true love is for me.I hope you guys have enjoyed this chapter!! Let me know if you have any feedback or if you have any suggestion on what you would like to see. Thank you for all the support. LOVE YA'LL ❤️❤️❤️
