It is Christian's last day in Milwaukee before heading to Arizona for spring training. I was really sad because I didn't want him to leave but I knew that he would be back in no time since the season would be starting next month.

Today we decided that we wanted to tell Kalen about the baby even though I was only one month pregnant. We wanted to wait a little while to tell our friends and the rest of our families but I thought that it would be a good idea to tell Kalen now since he has always been there for me.

Since Kalen was in school right now, Christian and I spent the day watching movies and also packing his bag for the spring season while also leaving some things here that he had brought from California.

"Babe, do you think we should get a new house once it gets closer for the baby to get here?" Christian asked as he sat on the bed while I folded some laundry I had recently done.

"Well, we can but I do think that this house is good." I told him. "We have two extra rooms which go unused unless we have company so we could make one of those rooms the baby's room."

"Yeah, I guess you're right." He said as started to help me fold the clothes that were left. "When is the due date anyways?" He asked.

"Well, the doctor didn't give me a specific date but if I am a month and a half along then..." I said, doing the math in my head. "I would be due around September I believe."

Christian nodded with a small smile on his face. "I can't wait to meet him or her. I have always wanted to be a dad but I didn't think it would happen this soon."

"Me either." I smiled at him. "It caught me by surprise but I wouldn't have wanted to have a baby with anyone else." I walked over to Christian and stood between his legs as he wrapped his arms around me.

"I know you're going to be an amazing mother and I am so happy that you're the mother of my children." He said and moved my head down so that I could kiss him.

We ended up laying out on the bed having a make-out session until we heard the front door open and close, followed by voices. Christian and I separated, standing up and leaving the room to see who had arrived.

When we made it downstairs, Kalen and Brianna were sitting on the couch, scrolling through the TV channels.

"Hey guys, I hope you don't mind that I brought Brianna over. She didn't have a ride to practice today and I thought you would be able to give her one." Kalen said as he looked at Christian and me.

"Yeah of course!!" I exclaimed and smiled at them. I looked over at Christian and gave him a little nod to which he went back upstairs. "So Kalen, Christian, and I have a little surprise for you." I told him.

"Ray... you need I hate surprises." He whined and Brianna hit his arm.

"Be nice! They got you a present." She said and I chuckled.

Kalen rolled his eyes playfully before looking back at me. "So what's the surprise?" He asked.

At that moment, Christian came walking down the stairs again with a box in hand. "Here you go, bud." He said and handed the box over to Kalen.

Kalen looked at us weirdly before slowly opening the box. "A shirt?" He asked as he pulled out a shirt of his size.

"Turn it around." I told him as he had the shirt turned towards us instead of him.

When Kalen turned the shirt around and read what it said, his jaw dropped. "No way, you're joking right?" He asked, looking up at us with wide eyes.

I shook my head with a small smile on my face. "Nope! You have been promoted to Uncle Kalen. Well come 9 months you will be Uncle Kalen."

"YOU'RE PREGNANT?" Kalen jumped up from the couch with a smile on his face. I nodded and he attacked me with a hug. "Oh my gosh!! I'm going to be an uncle!!"

"Yes, yes you are." I said, tears of joy brimming my eyes as I rubbed his back.

Kalen let go of me and brought Christian into his embrace as well. "Congratulations, man!! You're going to be a great dad!"

"Thank you." Christian said with a huge smile plastered on his face.

Brianna walked over to us and said, "Congratulations you guys!! You are going to be amazing parents! I am so excited for you guys."

I hugged Brianna and joyfully said, "Thank you, sweetie!!"

"This is officially my new favorite shirt." Kalen said as he grabbed the new shirt. "Babe look, it says 'I have been promoted to Uncle Kalen'." He exclaimed excitedly.

I was so happy that Kalen was excited about this new addition to the family. I was worried that he would not be happy about the baby but I know that he is going to be a great uncle to Christian and I's baby.

It was now time for Christian to leave once again for a couple of weeks and I was consumed with sadness.

"Baby, it's only a few weeks. I'll be back soon for the regular season." He said as he hugged me.

"I know but now you're going to be even more busy." I whined which made Christian chuckle.

"You know I always make time for you, sunshine." He said, wiping my tears and placing a kiss on my forehead.

I nodded sadly and stood on my tip-toes to place a kiss on his lips. After I kissed him, I pushed him toward his Uber.

"Go before I start crying again." I said, sticking out my bottom lip.

Christian laughed and placed one final kiss on my lips before saying, "I'll call you when I land, baby. I love you and take care of our baby."

"You know I will." I smiled. "I love you too."

After that, Christian hopped into his Uber and I watched as they drove away towards the airport. I knew it was only going to be a few weeks but it was still sad every time I had to say goodbye to him even for the least amount of time.

But either way, I couldn't stand there and cry because I had a job to get to and I knew that everything was going to be okay.
