"CHRISTIANNN!!" I yell from the bathroom as I stand in a puddle of water. It was 4 in the morning on September 16th and I had just woken up because I needed to use the bathroom. Before I could even make it to the toilet, water burst from between my legs and I started to freak out.
I heard rushing coming from the bedroom before Christian burst through the bathroom door with a panicked look on his face.
"WHAT!" He asked panicked as he walked over towards me.
I held out my hand for him to stop as I looked down at the puddle of water that surrounded me. "I... I think my water just broke!"
Before Christian could even react, Kalen ran into the room in a pair of pajama pants and he also wore a worried look on his face. "Are you okay? Why did you yell?" He asked.
I could not even answer when I got a sharp pain in my stomach making me groan as I bent over in pain. Christian rushed over to me as he held me up and spoke to Kalen.
"Kalen, her water broke so we need to go to the hospital. Can you go get dressed and start the car while we get the hospital bag and I help her to the car?"
"Yeah, of course." Kalen rushed out of the bathroom and went to do as Christian said.
Christian then directed his attention to me and said, "Okay, sunshine, we need to get to the hospital. Do you want to change?"
I nodded, trying to recover from the pain in my stomach and Christian helped me from the bathroom to the bed in our room.
"I need new underwear and pants." I told him and he rushed over to my dresser to pull out some underwear and grabbed one of his clean sweatpants for me to wear.
"Here, let me help you." He said as he helped me get dressed into new, clean clothes.
Once I was dressed, we grabbed the hospital bag that laid in our closet and slowly made our way downstairs. Kalen was already waiting by the door so that we can start making our way to the hospital.

"Okay momma, lets push again." My doctor said as she helped me through this long labor process.
"I can't." I cried, being in immense pain.
"You can do this, sunshine." Christian tried to soothe me with his words as he ran his hand through my loose hair.
I glared at him and said, "Shut up, this is all your fault." A sharp pain my stomach interrupted my frustration as I groaned and pushed, following my doctor's instructions.
"One more, momma. Your baby boy is almost out." The doctor said as she counted me down for the last final push.
After pushing and pushing for about 2 hours, a cry was finally heard and I officially realized that it was my baby boy.
"He's here, sunshine! You did it." Christian said as he kissed my forehead and admirably looked at our baby boy that was in the doctor's hands.
The doctor held my baby boy towards me and I held out my arms to grab him and bring him close. Tears dropped from my eyes as I finally was able to hold my sweet boy in my arms.
"He looks so much like you." I smiled tearfully as I looked up at Christian who was also smiling with tears in his eyes.
"I love you both so much." He said, continuously running his hands through my hair. "I'm so proud of you."
I smiled at him and then allowed the doctor to take my baby so that they could weigh him and all of those kinds of things they have to do after a baby is born. Christian also went over to watch them do everything as well as officially cut the umbilical cord.
