It's been a whole month since Kalen and I returned to Milwaukee after spending Christmas in California with Christian and his family. This whole month has been filled with many busy days and crazy situations.
Lately, I have been feeling very sick and I decided to get a doctor's appointment for today. For the past week and a half, I have been feeling nauseous, haven't been able to eat much, and have constant headaches. I believe I have the flu but I just want to make sure which is why I decided to schedule an appointment for myself.
Christian and I have been going through a slightly rough patch in our relationship. I have to admit that it has been more my fault since I have been taking many things to heart. I have been extremely emotional and I feel like it is because I might be getting my period soon. We haven't texted much in the past two days due to one of the arguments we had on the phone a couple of days ago. I was mad at him for ignoring my calls while he was at his friend's house but I didn't know that they were working on a project. When he called me back when he got home, he was mad at the message I had sent him while he wasn't answering. He stated that I needed to be more understanding and patient.
Due to my stubborn self, I argued back with him even though I knew I should've apologized instead. I ended up hanging up on him and not answering his text messages or calls for the rest of the night until the next day. I could tell that he was still annoyed due to everything because his responses to messages would be very dry. I have cried a few times due to how dry he has been but I didn't want to tell him since it was more my fault. I plan to talk to him about everything after my appointment since he is busy in the morning, getting ready to come back to Milwaukee before his spring training in Arizona.
My appointment today was at 10 AM and then I had to go to work right after for a little while since we had a meeting with the rest of the instructors about the upcoming season. Kalen had already left for school since it was Friday and he also had two tests today.
At the moment, I was changing into one of Christian's oversized hoodies and a pair of black Nike sweatpants. It was cold outside today and I wanted to be as comfortable as I could for my appointment today as well as for my meeting.
Once I was done changing, I grabbed my keys and headed out the door to go to my appointment. It only took me 15 minutes to get to the doctor's office and I walked into the office.
"Good Morning, Ms. Pierce!" The receptionist smiled at me as I walked to the front desk. "How may I help you today?"
"Hello, I am here for my 10 AM appointment." I informed her and she nodded, going back to her computer.
"You're all set, Ms. Pierce. The doctor will be with you soon." She said to me and I smiled at her. I walked over to one of the seats and waited patiently for the doctor to come see me.

At the moment, I am sitting in the doctor's room waiting for my doctor to return with the results of my labs. She took some blood work, did a flu test, and made me take a pregnancy test just in case. I would be lying if I said I didn't get nervous when she mentioned a pregnancy test because it made me think about my period being late.
I started fidgeting with my fingers, feeling nervous about the result my doctor may present to me. Christian also texted me that he need to talk to me when I get out of the doctor so that was also making me nervous. I had no idea what he wanted to talk to me about.
Suddenly, I heard a slight knock on the door before my doctor walked in with her clipboard in hand.
"Okay Ms. Pierce, I have your results here. Are you ready to hear them?" She asked me as she sat down on her chair.
