After a long walk that was filled with silence, the trio found themselves back in the jet. Lana had left the two so she could get changed into some normal clothes seeing as the suit can get a bit uncomfortable at times. She put on some jeans along with a short, black sleeved shirt, finally her regular combat boots.
Lana let out a long exhausted sigh while running her hands through her short hair, the one thing she hated about today was the fact John's words had gotten to her. The fact he brought up Natasha (which was still a sensitive topic for Lana) almost made her cry, which was probably Walker's aim. After having a moment to think in the car she knew why he was acting the way he was.
She didn't have any control over what had happened with his older brother, and because of that it's now being thrown right back in her face.
A massive fuck you from the universe.
She walked out of the bathroom and back to where the other two were sitting, Bucky being seated on a stack of crates and Sam laying down on the benches. The pair had clearly had a conversation about something but she didn't know what "Whats going on?" she asked, both of their heads turned to her direction "Bucky says that there is someone I need to meet." Sam said resting his head back down on his bag.
The fact that he didn't give a name meant that he didn't know who he was meeting, she just nodded her head and moved to sit down opposite Sam "Your arms are looking better." Sam said "Yeah, they feel better. Lighter as well, the other plates felt... heavy." she scrunched her nose up at the thought and the memories that came with it.
"I can imagine." he said while looking at her, however she was too busy setting up her laptop to notice that they were both looking at her. Not only did she have to help them figure out this whole super solider situation, she had her own problems to deal with.
She knew the two of them wanted to ask questions- which she would answer, but she will let them ask her whenever they were ready. She wasn't in a rush.
Lana logged into her laptop and went straight to her files, she didn't see that twenty other files had been added as she had other things to worry about.
The files she was looking for weren't videos- it was a list. Her files from the Red-Room. Anytime she had a mission they would write it down and then transfer it online.
Every person she had killed had their own file.
She was going to delete them all, but she never really had the time. She didn't need to be reminded of what she had done in the past.
She scrolled down for some time seeing if the ones she could access had any relatives alive. Call her paranoid but after this morning, once she felt someone watching her she needed to make sure it wouldn't be someone who had a reason to get revenge.
Every file she could get access to had told her that the person who had been killed had no sort of relatives- not even distance. So she could cross all of those people out. One thing that annoyed her was that some of the files were locked, no matter what Lana tried she couldn't get in. None of the files had names only numbers.
