|Third Person's POV|

After Dawn scolded her brother for getting in trouble, she walked out of the cave to take a walk. Her mind has been too troubled and cloudy, some fresh air would help her get better.

She walked on the beach, not the best place she would like to be but only place where she could be alone.

Forget that, there's the person she least wants to see.

Kyle was sitting on a log, staring at the ocean, deep in thoughts. He hasn't noticed Dawn's presence who was planning to leave, but she stumbled on something and let out a not too loud groan which caused Kyle to turn his head swifty.

Dawn marveled at his quick reflexes. He said he worked for Anti-Justice before he heard their plans. Was he telling the truth?

And if yes, was he still a part of Anti-Justice?

"Were you trying to sneak out?" Kyle's voice brought her back to the world. He had a smirk that made Dawn feel strange. In the night, his forest green eyes looked as if glowing, she had to admit he looked quite beautiful in that moment.

She shook her head. "I just needed some fresh air. What's your reason?"

"Don't know. Just felt like sitting here. Staring at the ocean calms me down." He responded, not taking his gaze from the water.

Dawn who hated water found it unusual and unlikely. "Considering we were attacked here some time ago and I despise water, I can't relate."

Kyle scrunched his nose. "Too bad." He patted an empty seat next to him. "Sit, maybe you'll find something beautiful in waves."

The silver speedster doubted it but stil sat down next to him. Maybe from being friendly, she could find something about him. She copied his action and turned her gaze to the waves coming towards them but never reaching.

Wind blew their hair but she could still see well how his eyes were focused on the coming waves. Something about him gave her a strange, unknown feeling. And he resembled someone, someone she couldn't quite pinpoint. He had a neck line long chestnut hair, eyes as green as the forest-which she had to say were magical-and natural tanned skin. She remembered when he first arrived Sofia remarked he was quite handsome. She rolled her eyes in that moment but halfly agreed.

"You're staring." Kyle told her, which caused her to flinch because he still hadn't taken his eyes from water.

"I am not." She denied. "You're starting to imagine things. Must be an effect of water."

Kyle turned to her and rolled his eyes. "Sure, if you say so."

Dawn frowned. "Don't mock me."

"Why? Am I getting on your nerves?" He chuckled.

"As if." She scoffed. "Actually, why do I even bother. I shouldn't be here." She said and quickly stood up.

"Wait!" He called after her. "Stay. Why are you leaving?"

"First, I've told you I have no liking towards that thing," She pointed at the water. "And second, I don't even like you."

If it hurt Kyle, he didn't show it. "Too bad. We could've been good friends."

"Is it so surprising for you that I don't trust you?" Dawn asked him while taking a step towards him. "You arrived out of nowhere, stating you escaped Anti-Justice right after our second attack. You told us an information about two of the members but you could easily be a spy! I'm sorry if I'm hurting your feelings but trust doesn't come just like that!" She turned on her heel and walked back.
