|Third Person's POV|
"How did you know that Kryptonite was different?" Dawn asked Kyle when they went back in the cave.
Kyle scratched the back of his neck. "When you ran away to treat Livia, Connor and Jordan, Andre and I stayed back and checked the room. We know from Lex Luthor that if humans are around Kryptonite for too long it results in cancer. However, this one's different. It's called Slow-Kryptonite and it effects humans the way green does to Kryptonians. The reason you managed to survive that long is that you're a meta-human and you have speed healing."
"Wow," She blew a breath. "How in the world did Anti-Justice get it?"
"I don't know. But I fear they got far worse versions of Kryptonites." He answered in all honesty.
"This one's horrible, I don't want to imagine how bad other ones will be." Dawn uttered in full horror. "How do we get rid of them? Or where do we find them?"
"I have no idea. I'll work with Tech Boys. Maybe we can do something." He decided. "Now, come on. You need some rest."
Dawn whined. "Seriously?! I'm not fragile. I'm already okay!"
"Did my kiss have a healing effect on you? Last I checked, you had horrible headache." Kyle smirked and wrapped one arm around her.
Silver speedster rolled her eyes. "Look, I'm already healed. But, now that I think of it, I need a nap. A good long one."
"Then, this is our stop." He pointed at the door in front of them. All the doors were same, except they had logos that indicated with superhero stayed in the room. Dawn's and Gwen's were next to each other like Ronnie's and Elias'.
Dawn yawned. "Yeap, nap time." She tiptoed and gave him a kiss. She smiled and was about to go in the room when she remembered. "I have to check on Livia, Connor and Jordan!"
"Don't worry, go to sleep, I'll check on them. I'm sure with Gideon's help we can provide them with necessities." He reassured but Dawn looked like she wanted to protest. "You're sleepy. Don't worry, we can handle everything."
"Fine," She sighed. "Fill me in when I'll wake up."
"You got it!" He grinned and with one last kiss on her cheek he disappeared.
Dawn closed the door behind and crashed on her bed. Instantly, sleep took her away and for few good hours, she hasn't left her room.
* * *
Gwen has been sitting next to Jordan for an hours or so. Dawn left with Kyle and she hoped her best friend was all right. At least she wasn't alone and she had someone to take care of.
Meanwhile, she took care of Jordan who was layed on the bed in the med lab and restored his energy from yellow sunlight.
Livia and Connor were there too and Sofia and Levi looked after them. They were mostly quiet, if one discounted Levi's muttering to his girlfriend. He was so worried that Dawn gave him some medicine to calm down.
In fact, all of them were worried. Gwen feared if the door didn't open she would lose those people special to her. Suddenly, when Dawn sent her last lightning to the door - which Lacey felt and told everyone about - the doors opened and the rest of the team barged in the training room. The horror Gwen felt when she saw her best friend sprawled on the door unconscious. . . But as much as she didn't want to admit, she had gone mad being worried for Jordan.
Yes, they broke up. So what? That didn't forbid her from being worried about him. She was scared, scared that he wouldn't come out of that room.
Who wouldn't be? Everyone knows what Kryptonite does to Kryptonians. How could she not worry?
