|Third Person's POV|

Gwen glanced at her surroundings, afraid she might make a wrong move and attract Metalic's attention. Her plan was simple – freeze the floor, watch how Sohan slips on the ground, caught off-guard and put meta-cuffs on him.

However, nothing was ever simple when it came to Anti-Justice. Just when she was about to touch the floor, Metalic discovered her and threw at least twenty scissors to her direction. Gwen quickly put up an ice shield and the scissors crushed onto it, she could only see their ends facing her.

Man, if she got hit... Let's just say she would turn into a sponge, with blood flowing out of every hole. Which was not a pretty picture and caused her to grimace. Her distraction gave Sohan enough time to shoot two big chairs toward her. They were at S.T.A.R. Labs, this was the last remaining lab, the rest located in Central City were destroyed by him.

The thought that he destroyed her aunt's and dad's labs left a sinking feeling in her heart.

If they–when they win, will the city be the same? Will it survive the damage brought upon their enemies?

"You're an easy opponent," Metalic remarked once he shot another blast toward her direction and Gwen could only duck. Her thoughts distracted her so much that she only managed to defend herself.

Easy. That word cut through and left a mark. Taming her anger, Gwen rose up and threw ice daggers to his direction, five he ditched, but the six one landed on his ankle.

"Ugh," He groaned and charged at her. With newfound strength, Frostine shot an ice blast at him, making him lose his balance and fall down. Gwen took that as her cue to push him farther with her blast and corner him.

"I take it back. You're not completely hopeless." Sohan smirked and pulled the nails from the desks and shot Gwen. The nails were small and his attack was swift, which made it harder for her to ditch. Rapidly, she made a defensive barrier that contained the thrown nails, but few still managed to scratch her right arm.

It was a good thing she was left-handed.

Gwen made an ice dagger and charged at Metalic, who regained his posture and was about to assault her. Frostine was faster, she cut his right, healthy leg and than touched his right arm. She absorbed enough heat from him, careful not to harm him, but to weaken him. With the newly gained energy, Gwen generated a blizzard, trapping Metalic into it.

"What. The. Hell. Is. This?!" He yelled but Gwen didn't answer. She waved her hands in the same motion, the blizzard was too strong for him to break out of, so it left him dizzy when Gwen stopped moving her hands. Metalic fell on the ground, hitting the floor with his right side that was already damaged from her attacks. Gwen swiftly put power-dampening cuffs on him and hit him with enough strength to knock out but not receive further damage.

Rapidly, she opened a breach and when granted permission, went in the cave. She was afraid that Metalic would regain consciousness and fight again, so she breached him directly in the cell. Once she locked the cell, she let the reality sink in.

She did it. She defeated him and trapped him in the cell.

Until the very last moment, Gwen didn't believe in herself, but now that the victory was hers, she allowed a smile to dance on her lips.

"Good job, Gwen!" Jonathan congratulated her, as he descended on the stairs and saw their enemy behind the bars.

Gwen could only nod. She was still shocked from what she did up there. The training with her mother and exploring her powers fully really paid of.

Guess what they said about limit was true.

It only existed if you believed in it.
