|Third Person's POV|

"Nora, I don't know how to do this!" Dawn repeated for what felt like thousand of time. "I'm stuck, I keep bumping into things and I'm definitely not making any progress!"

"That's how you think." Nora taunted. "Dawn, the progress you made is indescribable, how could you think so?"

Dawn huffed and snuggled her pillow oj the couch. "If only bumping into things twice a day and not having super-vibrating hands is a progress then I have no idea what to think!"

Speed force Nora chuckled and sat closer to young speedster. "Dawn, the power that was given to you is huge. You're becoming better and better at controlling it here, in Speed Force. Imagine how good you'll be in the outside world were no giant forces increase your speed?"

"That's the thing." Dawn ground out. "I'm supposed to control it fully, or else it'll destroy me! No one in my family knows what do to with this! Not dad, not Ronnie, not uncle Wally or Elias! It's just me, being a nervous energy that can bump into things, always forgetting that she can phase!"

Nora wrapped an arm around her. "Dawn, you know that with great power come great responsibility. I have no doubt that one day, you'll be able to control them and realize why it has been given to you."

Dawn grabbed the pillow tighter. "I just don't want to be scared of my powers." She whispered as few tears rolled on her cheeks.

The mystery of her powers killed her and she hated not knowing about them. And realizing that she was alone in this felt like a weight of the planet. Her dad and brother could do only so much. In the end Dawn would always be alone, facing her powers.

"No, you're not alone." Nora whispered which made Dawn wonder if she could read her mind.

"No, I'm no telepath." Nora chuckled. "It's clear as a sky that you're worried you'll be alone."

"And it's true," Dawn mumbled.

"No, it's not." Nora assured her. "Years ago, your father believed he was alone too, his friends and family showed him that he would never be alone in this, he would always have people to count on and that gave Barry even bigger power than he imagined. And no, not a scary one, a relaxing one that made him realize he could depend on others help too, that he would never truly be alone as long as he carried love with him."

"I hate to ruin your pep-talk, but dad's paragon of love, that makes sense."

Nora burst into laughter and Dawn couldn't help small smile appear on her face as well.

"You know very well that you have people standing beside you who love you and care about you. Don't ever forget that, Dawn. You can do it."

With that Nora disappeared, leaving Dawn snuggling to her pillows, deep in thoughts.

The next day Dawn was determined to do better. She was Dawn Allen, daughter of the Flash, she could do it. She could control her powers just like her parents learned to do.

Her mother faced lots of struggles when her aunt Frost appeared, Barry had trouble with his powers too. But over time they learned to make peace with everything.

Dawn wanted that too. And she would achieve it. With training and help of her family and friends.

After her morning training, she asked Nora to summon her father. Some time ago, Dawn was very mad at him for sending her in Young Justice. Now, she realized real reason behind and she was grateful for it. Barry reassured her that everything would be all right and that she could succeed in it.

Then Dawn spoke with Ronnie. She heard everything that was going on on Mount Justice and her eagerness to go back home grew. An evil organization was planning to hurt her friends and she had to stop it.

Which was why she felt that when she ran again on her training, it would he different. She strongly believed that this run, would change everything.

"Are you ready for it?" Nora asked her, an eager smile playing on her face.

Dawn nodded. "I know what do to, now."

She got ready as Nora started counting. Thousands of thoughts flashed in her mind and she chose to concentrate on the ones that made her happy.

Her parents, her family, Young Justice even if she won't tell them that, her job, her hidden librabry in her room on Mount Justice, fighting bad guys with the people she feels happiest around and so many other things connected to them.

Dawn let her mind draw power from those. She felt lighting run through her body as Nora finished counting and called. "Run Dawn, run!"

Her body felt like being electrified. Everything was charged and pushing her to run, run and run. She took swift turns in the Speed Force's version of Central City. She ran on water, over buildings and did amazing things that she didn't know was possible. Her speed gave her a chance to do thousands of tricks and it didn't even feel pressuring.

For once, Dawn believed that her powers didn't conrrol her. She was speed, free to run anywhere.

She went back to the spot were Nora wa waiting and saw her grin when she didn't bump into anything. Neither were her hands vibrating and her whole body felt normal. As normal as speedster's could be, of course.

"I'm feeling wonderful!" Dawn exclaimed and jumped to pull Nora in a hug.

"And with that, you are ready to go back home." Nora smiled while hugging her back.

"I can't believe it! I have no idea on thousands of things you told me about my powers but I swear for once I don't feel scared! I know I can count on it, it's part of me. I am the speed and the speed is me. Power is part of me and I'm not controlling it nor is it controlling me. It's just natural."

She couldn't contain her emotions. Never had she felt like this. She was always scared and her power were unnatural to her since the moment she activated them. She was ten when she actually beging to use her speed. Before that it was contained by a power-dampenning necklace. At agr of ten, the necklace broke and Dawn could barely control the speed.

Now everything was different. She felt better. She felt and she knew she could defeat Anti-Justice. She wasn't scared of them either anymore.

With one final hug to Nora, Dawn raced out of the Speed Force and went back home.
