|Third Person's POV|
Tess walked around the market, searching for one last clue before they left. Her head was fuzzy from everything, plus Ronnie seemed to be mad at her and she had no idea what to say to fix that. She didn't deem herself wrong for saving him. She would always make that choice but why didn't Ronnie see that?
She stopped at the place where Metalic stood when she shot him in the leg. Minutes ago there was blood but she and Ronnie helped clean up everything. Now, something caught her eye. She bent down and moved away few things. There, she saw a bronze colored dagger. It must've belonged to Sohan and fell down when she shot him.
But that wasn't only thing about the dagger. It had some familiarity. It reminded Tess of daggers Kyle had.
"Ronnie!" She called for her boyfriend who ran up to her on instant.
"Everything okay? You all right?" He questioned frantically. Something warmed in Tess' heart. It was good that even if he was mad at her, he still cared about her.
"Yeah, I'm fine, everything's okay." She answered and raised the dagger slightly for him to see. "I just found this here."
"Isn't that Kyle's dagger?"
Tess shook her head. "Metalic stood here when I shot him in the leg. I think it fell down there and it belongs to him."
"But it resembles Kyle's daggers so much." He pointed out.
"Exactly." She agreed. "But it's probably so because he was with them for so long. He must've given him the dagger then. Or he just left some behind."
"Yeah," Ronnie nodded. "Probably."
They didn't dare voice their other thoughts.
"I'm sorry I was rude to you." Ronnie apologized when they left the supermarket and stopped in front of the perch.
"It's all right." She muttered. "Are you still mad at me?"
"Mad at you? No!" He said in surprise. "I was never mad at you. I was mad at myself for not being fast enough, for putting you in such position."
"You didn't put me in that position! Metalic did. And, we still got something even after that encounter. We'll brainstorm why he was there and about dagger later." She give him a kiss on the cheek and took his arm. Tess let relief wash over her once Ronnie squeezed her hand and walked in the cave with her.

Livia made her morning smoothie, which her friend Dawn claimed to be the most disgusting thing in the world, and then walked in Lacey Luthor's room. Lacey told her she discovered something important and Livia was eager to hear her out.
"Come in!" Lacey called when Livia knocked on her door. It opened and magic barrier that the young witch had made let Livia walk in.
"Honestly, if anything ever happens, this rooms will surely protect us." Livia commented as she sat on a fluffy pink chair. Lacey, who was sitting in a brown bean bag chair, nodded. "That's one of the reasons why I put the spell on every bedroom."
Livia settled comfortably on the chair and drank her smoothie while Lacey stood up to search through her bookshelf. The books were written in strange languages that Livia didn't understand, she always suspected only witches understood those. Her boyfriend Levi, and Lacey's older brother, could read those books because he had magic in him, however he rarely used it. He always preferred science over magic.
"What are you looking for?" She asked.
Lacey didn't look her way as she answered. "I'm searching for a book I brought from National City. Last time I was there, I went through my mother's and grandmother's books and found a dark spell book. It was filled with dark magic spells, nothing I've ever used."
