|Third Person's POV|

Two weeks passed since the members agreed on helping each other prove themselves to their parents. They made a schedule on who trains with who and when.  So far, it was going well. Elias' father Wally dropped for a visit and offered the speedster to train with them that day.

Like she promised her mother, Dawn started to give the place a chance and she discovered that it's not that bad here.

However now Gwen was struggling to bond with her 'cavemates' as Elias called them. She was nothing but herself for this past two weeks but and even though everyone treated her nicely and no one seemed to have a problem with her, she still couldn't get used to being here.

And to say she nudged Dawn to get used to Young Justice. She hasn't told her about her strugges, of course. It's not like Dawn wouldn't understand but she didn't want to confuse her mind even more, she has just started to like the place and it would be wrong to meddle in and remind her that she was against all of this.

So here she was, talking to her mother through a hologram, hoping she might have something to say that will soothe her.

"Hey Gweny!" Her mother's calm voice was heard as her hologram appeared too. First error of the new invention, voice was heard before the person appeared.

Gwen's mother was wearing a cheerful smile on her face. She always did whenever she saw her daughter. To think she once was a supervillain.

Now she's an amazing mom and wife.

"Hi, mom." Gwen smiled. "How are you? Dad?"

"We're both fine, dear. You? I heard from Caity that you girls were starting to warm up to the place. Dawn was throwing tantrums when she left." Frost let out a small laugh. "She was always like that whenever we didn't let her use her powers."

Gwen smiled, remembering her best friend. As strong and smart she was, she was also very stubborn.

"Yeah, but now she's okay. The kids here are nice and she's really warming up." She answered. "I'm fine too, but…"

"What? What but?" Her mother's concerned voice made her even more nervous to talk.

"It's nothing serious, everyone's alive and well. I just, I… two weeks ago I forced Dawn to interact with the people and stop complaining about uncle Barry. And she did, she's much better now. But I'm having doubts now." Her voice cracked in the end. "I know I'm supposed to become a hero but don't you think it's better if I go back to my atoms and other scientific stuff?" She asked her mother.

Frost sighed. "Scientific stuff as I like to call it is very boring, I still don't understand what purpose you and your father find in it." She chuckled, partly joking. "But Gwen, you're so much more than that! You're brilliant, don't you see there's more in you than you think? You can be a much better hero than me. That's for sure, don't doubt yourself. Did anyone tell you something? Are other heroes kids treating you well?"

"Of course!" Gwen reassured. "Like I said, they're very nice and friendly. It's not them but me. I'm doubting myself because I think I'm more useful in the lab than I'm here."

"And that's nonsense!" Her mother protested. "Frostine is a hero just like Velocity and the Streak. Even though Cisco doesn't agree with your choice of names, he worked very hard on your suits and I think it would be a shame to throw it away." She once again let out a small laugh. "Don't worry, love. You're wonderful and you'll become an amazing superhero. But if you'll still wish to come back, just give us a call and we'll pick you up."

Gwen smiled gratefully. "Thanks, mom. I'll keep you updated."

Frost smiled back. "Tell hi to Dawn, Ronnie, Elias and Andre from me." She waved her hand and in instant her hologram was gone.
