Cody thanked the therapist as he picked up his papers, he was now off to lunch.
Since Kacie left he ultimately spiraled even further downwards and ended up checking into rehab. Once they essentially 'fixed' him he was assigned therapy to stabilize himself long-term.
It was a regular off day. He'd wake up and go for a jog, talk to the doctors about the baby, go to therapy, then go get lunch with the boys and have the rest of the day free.
Whenever he got lunch with the team it made him think about Corey. He wondered what Corey thought of him now.
He hadn't spoke to Mady in awhile. Well... Mady hadn't spoken to him since Kacie.
It's kind of funny how one event can be the catalyst to a thousand others.
