The flight was long. 10 hours through the night and they were set to land at 10 o'clock on Saturday night in LA.
As soon as they'd gotten to the airport Kacie noticed the tan envelope in her mail stack with her name written on it, in the same atrocious handwriting that never changed.
She didn't want to appear worried though, because if she did she'd definitely make Christian worried.
So as soon as Christian had fallen asleep on the plane, Kacie pulled the letter right out of her mini purse and tore it open.
Holding back the urge to gasp, she was astonished at what she saw.
