Chapter Forty

Oculos

"Tch," singhal ni Taurus at ni Leo. Nagkatingan pa ang ilan sa kanila at mas naging alerto sa babaeng si Oculos. Nanindig naman ang takot sa batang si Reeva na buhat na ngayon ni Ces na naawa at mas niyakap pa siya.

Animo'y lahat na ng mga mata ni Oculos ay nakatingin sa bawat isa sa kanila. Tila ba nag-aantay ito sa kung sino man sa kanila ang unang aatake.

Dahan-dahang inangat ni Oculos ang kaniyang parehong mga kamay. A ball of soot is flowing above her palm. It's like a black powder and it's smokey, not just that it's also performing a spiky substance.

A soot magic user.

Leo immediately disappeared to where he was standing. Napansin iyon ng lahat at agad tumingin kay Oculos. Leo appeared behind her in the blink of an eye! An eye is looking at him at the exact moment. He was about to slashed her head when she immediately faced Leo and was about to throw her soot at him! But for some reason, it didn't touched Leo but it pushed him away a little bit.

Oculos immediately canceled her magic and looked at him with confusion. It was cancer, she blocked Oculos' soot. Leo immediately made the first move and attacked her again! But Oculos stopped his claws with her bare hands! Even if his sharp nails are impaled in her palm! A huge soot formed under Oculos' feet attacked Leo and hurled him away until he bumped into the ground!

Not just that, the soot crawled around Leo's body and it's suffocating him! Capricorn immediately went to him and gave him air! She tried to touch the soot but surprisingly, it's sharp and it almost gave her a wound in her finger, "Leo!"

"Don't touch me! Argh!"

Bumakas ang inis sa lahat ng zodiacs. Agad silang tumakbo sa ilang bahagi ng lugar upang paligiran si Oculos! Aquarius turned into a huge water wave like before and went straight to her but instead, Oculos summoned a lot of soot in the exact size as her water wave and consumed her! She immediately turned into her original form and screamed in unexplainable pain! The soot's also wrapped around her like Leo's!

"Don't attack recklessly!" Sigaw ni Taurus na nagpa-alerto naman sa lahat. But it's too late for Scorpio, she was already behind Oculos and was about to slash her head with her sword!

But her eyes widen in surprise when her sword broke into two from the moment it reached Oculos neck! Agad siyang hinarap ni Oculos at mabilis na hinawakan ang kaniyang leeg at inangat mula sa sahig! Soot that came out from Oculos' back pushed her away and hurled her into the ruins!

"Scorpio!"

Oculos raised her hand to the sky, and a huge thunderbolt immediately appeared! Thunder attacked each of them from the moment she put her hand down!

Luckily, all of them were able to avoid the thunder's attack! Taurus can't take it anymore. He stared at her with great intense! 'Taurus enchantement'

"Poison glare!"

But he was utterly dumbfounded when Oculos didn't even react to his enchant. Some of her eyes looked at him and instead, he was the one who vomits a blood! He was poisoned! Agad siyang napatakip ng bibig nang subukang pigilan ang kaniyang pagsuka ng dugo!

'She could do a reverse attack!?'

"Capricorn enchantment: Death of wind!" The wind around them immediately changed course! Even the rocks are flowing through the extreme flow of wind! She aim to remove Oculos ability to breathe but she's not reacting!

"Capri! Stop it! She can reverse it back to you!" Taurus shouted while still coughing blood. Capricorn was shocked and immediately canceled her enchantment, but it was too late. She noticed herself slowly not feeling well until her breath was getting shorter!
