Chapter Ten

Giant beast

"Since our P.E response to fundamental of rhythmic activities, we'll do a dance presentation today. I already discussed with you our second module so today will be different. Our time is at least 2 hours so you have an hour to practice, you could be in group, or by partner, you can ask anyone you want."

Ah crap, here we go again, ask anyone we want.

"Dance anything you want, as long as the type of the dance is under our discussed module you will also explain it to me, it's okay if you perform in a short time as long as I can see that you did your best, is enough. I'll be out for a while but I'll come back after an hour, class representative, I'm expecting you to tell me what will you do for the rest of the said time."

May mga nagbubulungan na sa mga kaklase ko, nang makaalis na si sir ay saka na nagkakaroon nang mga grupo. Nasa sports field kami ngayon, wearing our P.E uniform of course. I'm not that good at communicating with my classmates. Napapabuntong hininga ako habang pinagmamasdan ang iba sa kanila.

Naisip ko tuloy na tumambay na muna sa tila waiting shed sa gilid, may upuan do'n. I was about to leave nang paglingon ko sa gilid nandito na si Bambam. Wearing his excited smile, even his eyes are smiling looking like it's closed as he waved excitedly.

"Bambam?"

"Partner tayo~"

Huh?

Medyo nagulat ako sa kaniya, I wasn't expecting him to ask me. Hindi naman talaga kami close at usually lagi sila magkasama ni Sofia. Hinanap tuloy ng tingin ko si Sofia, she already had a group. Nilingon ko tuloy ulit si Bambam na hindi naman nagbago ang itsura.

"Ahm, okay. If you're fine with me--"

"Oo naman! Fine na fine! Tara!"

"Oh."

Agad niya akong hinila at pumwesto kami sa bandang gitna pa. I ask why, sabi niya lang mas maluwag daw. I was about to feel embarrass because hello? Sayaw 'yon at hindi ako sanay sumayaw. Buti nalang section lang namin ang nandito at busy na ang lahat sa pagpaplano. 

"Wait silip tayo sa module." Agad niyang nilabas ang phone niya at hinanap ang file na module namin. Sinesend din kasi ng prof namin ang file ng bawat module sa'min.

"Yarn~ pili nalang tayo dito kung alin diyan, saka kung pa'no natin iper-perform--" agad kaming nagtingingan ni Bambam nang makaramdaman kami ng pagyanig.

The earth is shaking..

"Woi! Lumilindol ata!" Sigaw ng class representative namin. Tila lumalakas pa nga kaya naman agad nagsikilos ang ilan sa mga kaklase ko at ang ilan ay lumabas ng sports field.

Wait..

"T-teka huwag kayo umalis, mas okay dito sa sports field, h-huwag kayo lumapit sa building!" Ani ko ngunit mukhang hindi naman ako narinig ng iba! My voice is not that loud!

"HOY! DITO LANG KAYO! HUWAG KAYO UMALIS DITO! PAPASUKIN MO SILA!" Malakas na sigaw ni Bambam sa lahat! Dahilan tuloy para mapalingon sila at magkatinginan, sumangayon din sila dahil tumakbo sila palapit sa'min!

I can even see some students in the building, paalis na sila do'n at ginagabayan sila ng ilang mga teachers.

"Shems! Lumilindol--" everybody stops running towards us na para bang nakakita sila ng multo sa likuran namin! Do'n ko naramdaman na parang may kakaibang enerhiya sa likuran. Nang mapansin ko sila ay agad na rin akong napalingon sa likuran ko.

Oh shit.

"AAAH!" Everyone screams at lahat ay nagsitakbo palayo! Naglabasan na ang mga kaklase ko dito sa sports field. I don't how to react while staring..

At this giant.. Human titan.. Alien?

With thousands of eyes all over it's body. It's naked but has no genitals. It has such long arms, fingers and legs. It's head is deformed. I just stared at it while it's coming towards me.

Damn it's ugly.

"Ah shit, I prefer Curstine's beast form." I randomly said while observing the beast that's a bit closer to me now. Ah crap, am I supposed to kill this thing? Why am I not scared?

Ah, hindi nga lang pala ako basta tao.

Pinapanood ko lang 'to sa mga horror movies e. What now?

I could feel my strings, tiningnan ko tuloy ang kanang palad ko. I know I'll be in danger if I don't act now, so my strings are telling the same thing?

Just thinking about it..

"Uugh~" crap, I'm not ready for this... I look at the beast like I'm already exhausted. Why now? Hindi pa pwedeng mamaya nalang? Yung hating gabi para lahat tulog. O kaya istorbohin niya nalang yung iba pang miyembro ng zodiacs. I'm living in peace here so why disturb me? Hindi naman sa hindi ko kayang umalis.. but knowing that my classmates and everyone will be in danger.. I don't want them to get hurt.

"Zo.. Zo." It's saying something, umayos tuloy ako at tumitig sa kaniya. I was about to ask nang bigla niyang itaas ang isang kamay niya and it's about to hit me! "Oh shit."

"Zodiac!" I immediately jump to the side and did a front flip! Nang makatayo ako ay agad akong tumakbo patungo sa likuran niya! Malakas niyang nahampas ang lupa na naging cause ng isa pang lindol! I almost float from the ground, but still manage to maintain my balance at muling tumakbo!

I immediately stops from running making me slide to the ground, I'm completely behind it now. I immediately release my strings from my finger tips and stabs its nape!

This sensation..

I soften my strings and I immediately jump! It was all like I've been used to always jump so high! I was able to be at the same height of the alien titan! I'm floating though.

As I am in the air, I also felt my eyes changes color, from brown to gold! My vision becomes so clear.

"Virgo enchantement." I blurted out in whisper as if I'm used to it! I'm surprised at myself but I don't have time for it! My strings immediately reacts and coil around in its deformed head! It immediately screams in pain.

"Tight embrace." I hardened and tightened my strings in its head! Harder and harder while I'm about to fall! I plan to hold on my strings and land on its back when suddenly, I felt my whole body being grab by a huge hand!

"Oh!" Crap, I've been captured, now I lost a hold on my strings. He knows where exactly I'm at, dang I forgot it has to many eyes!

This kind of experience.. I've been into a lot before, this is not new to me, I've always been ready.

Gumalaw na siya and now I'm infront of its head. It seems like it's observing me. "Zo.. zo..." I was about to ask what's wrong with its look when suddenly, its jaw move and a huge mouth is forming! I'm a bit shock but I decided to just stare at it like its a trash.

I felt sick when I saw its terrifying sharp teeth and it has a lot!

Wait kakainin ba ako nito? Ay hala.

I was about to enchant a new one when suddenly a huge moving tree branches stabbed the beast's head and body! I didn't see that coming, I'm a bit shocked; is someone here?

Nilingon ko kung saan nanggagaling ang sangang 'to.. Oh?

His eyes are sparkling, his cheeks are bright red. His hands are facing the beast; he's the one who controlled these branches.

He looks so amazed while staring at me; he can't help but to show his smile that's getting awkward because he's trying his best to hide it.

"Bambam?"
