Chapter Twenty Five

Ambush attack

"Heeey! This looks like my bed! Ano 'to?"

Ilang Segundo ko munang tinitigan ni Taurus na iniharap sa'kin ang hawak niyang cloud shape marshmallows. "Marshma--"

"Oh! Everything is in this place! Ano 'to?" Turo pa niya sa isa pang uri ng mallows. Walang buhay ko nalang siyang tinitigan at saka niliko ang cart ko at lumakad palayo sa kaniya. Alam ko namang sumunod din siya agad sa'kin. "Pwede ko ba 'tong kunin?" Pinakita naman niya sa'kin ang hawak niya habang nakangiti at kasalukuyang sumasabay sa'kin. Yung cloud shape marshmallows pala 'yon. Kinuha ko naman 'yon ang nilagay sa cart at saka ako lumiko sa sunod na stall. "Anong sunod mong gagawin after?"

"I'll pay for all of this." Sagot ko lang, nagche-check naman ako ngayon ng uri ng delata. "Ano 'yan?"

"Pagkain."

"But it's a can?"

"There's food inside."

"Wow... It's too sealed?" Iniikot-ikot niya pa 'yong isang delata na kinuha niya.

Ang dami na ngang laman ng big cart ko. Karamihan do'n mga kinuha ni Taurus na nagustuhan niya lang kahit hindi naman niya alam ang ilan do'n. Pati laruan ng aso, meron pa dito. Hinayaan ko nalang since siya may gusto no'n at may pera naman akong hawak, of course galing kay dad. Dahil kung wala, hindi ko hahayaan 'tong mga 'to na malagay sa cart ko.

By the way, today is Sunday, wala akong pasok kaya naman I'm in casual clothes, black halter top, wide leg trousers and yellow shoes. Binilhan ko nga rin si Taurus ng damit niya pandagdag, hindi nagpapalit e. Now he's in army green polo, black shirt underneath, pants and yellow shoes. Now he looks cool.

Dahil do'n ay binitawan ko agad ang sungay niya. Sa isang iglap, tila nagtago ang dalawa niyang sungay sa buhok niya. "Ehehe! Pasensiya na, I got to excited, hindi ko na naitago hahahah! How careless of me!"

Sheesh, he sounds like our father. Walang expression ko tuloy siyang tinitigan saglit at saka ako napabuntong hininga. "Be careful," mariin kong sabi sa kaniya at saka kami nagpatuloy.

"Ang laki talaga ng lugar na 'to ano? But this is nothing compared to our palace." Taas balikat na sabi ni Taurus, kasalukuyan naming ginagala muli ang mall. May dala rin naman ako, dalawa rin dahil naparami nga.

But while walking, nakaramdam agad ako ng tawag ng kalikasan. Lumingon-lingon ako hanggang sa makakita ako ng mga nakahelerang bench sa gitnang bahagi ng malawak na pasilyo na 'to ng mall. Lumapit kami agad ro'n at nilapag ko ang mga box na dala ko at naupo naman agad si Taurus. "Ahaha, why is there a chair here?"

"So people can rest from their long walks... Iihi lang ako, hintayin mo ako dito, okay?" Saad ko, nagtataka naman siyang tumitig sa'kin. "You're still into that? Our kind don't usually do that--"

"Well I do, Taurus, Let's just say that I'm half human. I still have a human body that I'm sure won't age because I'm one of your kind... Hintayin mo ako dito, ha?" Napahawak na tuloy ako sa puson ko dahil talagang naiihi na ako.

"I won't be long." Mabilis kong sabi at lumakad palayo.

Third person

There's no one in the comfort room pagpasok ni Miza. Pumasok agad ang dalaga sa isa sa mga cubicle and did her business there.

While doing her thing, nakarinig naman siya agad ng yabag ng mga sapatos na pumasok sa comfort room. It's not just one, it seems like there's two people na pumasok.

Hanggang ang kaniyang titig ay nanatili sa kaniyang reflection sa salamin.

As she stayed alert, kitang-kita niya rin kung paano napalitan ang kulay ng kaniyang mga mata, from brown to gold. Lumapit siya sa gripo, inalapag ang kaniyang shoulder bag sa tabi habang titig na titig sa kaniyang reflection.

Now there's a clicking sound. Mas lalong tumitig si Miza sa kaniyang reflection, until she turned around and wave her strings upward! Suddenly there's a man in front of her that got slashed by her strings! The man covered in black clothes bumps himself inside the cubicle, lost his balance and fell on the ground trying to avoid her attack. Miza releases more strings from the ground, around the man to immobilize him!

But behind her, there's another man covered in black who came out from the mirror and was about to stab her with a sharp weapon when suddenly, Taurus came from his side and punched him in the face! Miza's eyes wided when she just realized that there's also a man inside the mirror that she taught is just a reflection!

The man who got punched ay halos humagis palayo sa kanila! But he immediately stood up on his feet and stop himself from getting pushed further.

The man who was about to get stuck in Miza's strings, suddenly disappeared! Before she could do something, The two mysterious man is now front of them. Both sides are being alert with each other.

Taurus and Miza was about to make the first move when suddenly, Miza have been stopped and pulled away by a red slimy jelly webs connecting from the ceiling! They were both surprised of that sudden attack, and they can't even feel its presence! "Miza!"

"See you," agad napatingin si Taurus sa nagsalitang lalaki sa harap nila at saka mabilis na naglaho ang dalawa nilalang!

Miza got furious, she was about to use her strings to cut those slimes that is now wrapped around her!

"Miza, wait!"

But when she finally cut this slime webs, it immediately multiplies and spread to her more!

"Miza, don't do anything! I'll try to--"

"Taurus!"

Taurus got interrupted when one of the black men came back and stabbed him from the back with a huge red creepy sword! It's close to his heart! "Taurus!!"

He immediately fell on his knees while holding his chest where he got stabbed! A blue glittery liquid is coming out of his body, his blood, while he's catching his breath.

"What the heck.. What the heck... Why can't we feel them? We can't feel their presence, Taurus.. Taurus got stabbed!"

"Argh! Taurus!" Pilit kumakawala ng dalaga sa mga red slimy webs na 'to, but the more she moves the faster the slimes are spreading and absorbing her! She can't help but to feel scared for her brother and be furious of what's happening. She was about to make an enchantment when suddenly, someone hugs her from the back through her waist. It's a man's voice whispering to her ears!

"Don't move, kun'di makakain na talaga kita, literal. Just sleep at hahayaan kitang makita ang liwanag ng araw bukas, okay?"

In a blink of an eye, Miza's heartbeat stops and slowly lost her consciousness.

"Good girl."
