After explaning, re-explaning, trying to read the note to exlain it better, and finally getting Goose and Aelia to fully understand, Goose managed to use a small pad on the side of the door to get access to the cameras in the main room.

Kate was pacing in the room. She flicked her tail, surveying the room. "Stevie~where are you~?"

Aelia glanced at Stevie. "I could try to, uh, neutralize her. I might get a bit drowsy, though. It'd affect both of us."

"Okay," Stevie resolved. "But get out of there if she gets too dangerous."

Aelia nodded and slipped out of the room. Kate turned. "Oh, is Stevie sending out her defense force now?"

Aelia growled. "I've only just met you and I hate you already."

Kate blinked. "Well, you've only just met me. What've I done to offend you that bad?"

Aelia and Kate were circling each other. "Huh, let's see; you've possessed my friend, scared the crap out of stevie, and have already taken away someone's entire personality!"

"Aww, that's a minor infraction." Kate snickered. "I've gone through worse."

"Nobody cares!" Aelia lunged at Kate, spun, and smacked her aside the head with her stinger. Kate stumbled and collapsed.

"Huh." Aelia crossed her arms. "That was easy. I didn't even have to use my venom."

Stevie saw Jay stir. "Aelia, look out!" She yelled, her voice coming from speakers in the walls.

Aelia spun around too late and Kate lunged at her, using her tail to stab herself. Aelia's eyes widened in surprise, then her eyelids drooped and she stumbled, falling.

"Give up Stevie!" Kate snarled."Or else I'm taking Aelia!"

Goose's eyes were wide with shock and horror. "Oh, no..."

"What're we going to do?!" Stevie worried, standing by the door and shuffling her weight. "I have to go out there, right? I...I think.." She peaked out the door. Images of her sitting on top of the locker, the fear, flashed through her...and then a thought. Could this be a trap? "I...I can't." Stevie whispered.

She took a step back and bumped into Goose. "Wh-"

"Sorry, Stevie." His vice was quiet and pained. Stevie gasped as she was shoved out the door. She twisted to look, but the soft -click- of the lock killed her escape attempt.

"There we are." Kate giggled.
