Jordie went over the plan in his head. They opened the seal, Goose and Stormy would throw down something (like, a plant, to see if the gemstone would take that instead), and they took sed Jay and Kate. Goose had reminded them to expect the worst.
Jordie was beside Stormy as they got ready to open the seal. He took a few moments to observe his surroundings, in case he had to hide anywhere. Something on Stormy's wrist caught his attention. A small bracelet...
The seal opened and Jordie yelped and hopped back. "Where did you get that?!" He yelped.
Stormy looked over at him. "I've had it the whole time."
"You didn't think it would be fit to tell anybody?" Jordie yelped, taking a few steps back.
Stormy narrowed her eyes. "I don't see what's wrong with it."
A chill crept up Jordie's spine. Her eyes were red. "Run!" He snapped. The others slowly started to realize what was happening and they scattered. Jordie ran back in the building, veering off-course and hiding in his and May's room. He let out a sigh and shook his head. "Why can't anything go how we planned it? I'm starting to feel like the world doesn't want us to help the,." He looked up at the roof. "Well, world, I don't care! We're going to save our friends, and-"
There was a bang on the door and Jordie jumped, yelping and dashing under the bed.
He heard a loud noise and saw the door fall to the floor. "Well, shit." He hissed under his breath.
