When Jay woke up, she was in a semi-transparent capsule of sorts with blue tinted glass. There was a guy sitting at a desk nearby, doing things on a computer. He had a name tag that said 'Jim'.
"You're awake?" The guy, supposedly named Jim, didn't turn to look at her. Jay could see long, brown hair in a long braid down his back.
"Hmm, maybe." Jay hummed.
"I wonder what you did to make the boss so mad?" Jim moved the screen to the side and pressed a button. Jay felt something that was neither cold nor warm at her neck and glanced down to see a sort of collar of sorts with a green-teal gemstone in the center.
"Wow." Jay said, unimpressed. "Al gave me a dog collar. So spooky."
"Ah." Jim continued.
Jay crossed her arms. "Is your name Tommy?"
"No." Jim said.
"I think you're a Tommy." Jay hummed.
"A few moments ago I felt sorry for you." Jim said.
"And?"
"I no longer do." He pressed a button and everything went dark again.
