Stevie, Jordie, and May burst into Al's office. Goose had agreed to keep watch.
Al lookd up. "What the fuck?! Are you trying to break my door down?"
Stevie narrowed her eyes. "Kate is Kim."
Al paused. "...Yes?"
"The gemstone is an entity." Jordie hissed. "It had Kim, and now it has Jay, and potentially Aelia, too. And you enabled it."
Al froze, paling. "What?"
"Kate isn't the person." Stevie said, trying to get through to him. "Kate's the gemstone. She changed when she put it on, didn't she?"
"Wha.." Al narrowed his eyes. "No. I call bullshit, this is some trick to let me let you go."
"How would we know about Kim if we were bluffing?" Stevie asked, sighing.
"You have the notebook, you could've guessed." Al crossed his arms. "No, I don't believe you. Prove it."
"The gemstone has Jay, Aelia, and Kim." Jordie said, slamming his hands down on the table. Stevie hadn't ever seen him this serious before. "If you're not too lazy, you could walk outside your door and find Adam holding off Kate because she tried to stop us from getting over here."
"And what if this is a trick?" Al snapped.
"Either you take that chance or we leave you here with the gemstone." May said.
"How would we lea-" Stevie hissed as May stepped on her foot.
"Fine." Al grumbled. "But if this is a trick..."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Jordie facepalmed. "We need a way to talk to Kate without being mind-controlled."
"Fine." Al huffed. "I'll see what I can do."
