Jay's eyes widened in shock. "Wha-" She attempted to pull back, but the gemstone had started to creep up her arm. Jay squinted. "We're trying to save you! Why?!"

"I don't think you understand." Kate sighed. "Here, let me say it slowly so you get it; THE GEMSTONE."

"But...we were going to help you!" Jay shouted.

"It was a trap." Kate huffed. "Deal with it."

"Jay?" Goose called from somewhere above. Jay growled. "I'll be fine! Go back up!"

"But-"

"Go!" Jay called, still struggling as the gemstone slowly creeped along her arm. "Find some way to close this off! Cut it off from Aelia and Kim!"

"What about you?!" Goose yelled back.

"I'll be fine!" Jay hissed. "Just go!"

Goose looked conflicted, then flew back up, laving Jay to struggle.

"Let you!" Jay snapped.

"Even if I did, it wouldn't do much now." Kate hummed.

"I noticed, thanks." Jay said, and then everything went black.
