Stevie cursed from her hiding spot as she sawStormy, after a few failed attempts, break down the door. She then saw a little gray ball of fury running at her.
"No-Wait-"
May didn't listen, leaping up and knocking Stormy over. There was a lot of screeching and then the bracelet went flying out of the door. Stevie wasn't sure if she should be awed, terrified, or both.
"OWWWWWW! OW! QUIT IT! STOP! PleeEaSe!"
"No more being dpooky." May huffed, walking out of the door. Stormy followed, looking banged up. "That hurt. A lot. Thank you so much for that."
"Your welcome, I just saved you from being mind-controlled." May crossed her arms.
"Yes, you also beat me up." Stormy crossed her arms, too.
Stevie came out of her hiding spot. "Dear-what in the world happened in there?"
"She beat me up." Stormy pointed at May, who rolled her eyes. "You'll be fiiine."
"Thanks." Jordie came out of the room looking spooked. "That, uh...that was something."
"If by 'something' you mean 'me being beat up by somebody who's 4 feet' then yeah, it was something." Stormy crossed her arms.
"But, uh, you're not spooky anymore, right?" Stevie asked.
"No." Stormy confirmed. "Thanks for that, I guess."
"Finally." May rolled her eyes once again. "A genuine thank-you."
Stevie snickered and Stormy sighed. "I'm never going to live this down, am I?"
"Oh, definitely not." Jordie shook his head.
"We're going to tease you about this forever." Stevie agreed.
Stormy rubbed her temples. "But...why?"
"Because we can." May put her hands on her hips. "Alright, let's go find everybody else."
