Chapter 22

"I mean, from this moment on, you're my daughter too! Stefania, welcome to the hospital and to the family!"

The couple hung up the phone and Stefania couldn't stop smiling. Nor Danielle.

"Congratulations, chief! I'm so proud of you my love!"
"Thank you amore mio!" The italian replied melting.

Then the blue-eyed girl hugged her girlfriend and said:

"You've already won the daughter, the sister-in-law, even your father-in-law. You're already family baby!"
"No bambina, the mother-in-law is still missing!" The brunette said apprehensive.

Danielle couldn't help but bursting out laughing.

"Love, this one you've already won and you don't even know it!"
"What do you mean bella?"
"My mom was really pissed at Grey, because he made me suffer. And despite I've tried my best to disguise and hide my suffering, my mom knows me really well and she knew I wasn't okay. So, Stephanie told me she called her every single day to ask about me. And my big sister kinda told her how much you make me feel good. So, she already loves you with all her heart baby."

Stefania smiled relieved.

"Really?"
"Really!"
"Why didn't your mom come to talk to us bella? Do you think she is angry?"
"No mon amour. She's in surgery. Yesterday she told Steph she was going to operate today. Don't worry baby girl!"
"Okay. We're gonna have time together."
"Yes! A lifetime baby!"

They were really happy and celebrating.

Then Stephanie invited:

"Hey girls, this news deserves a proper celebration, in big style! What do you think about we going out dancing tonight?"
"Perfetto! I love to dance!" Stefania stated.
"Great!" Danielle agreed. "Although  I prefere you dancing naked just for me, I think I can share the beauty of my hot goddess girlfriend, now also head of obstetrics, with the french people for a few hours."

The Ob/Gyn blushed and smiled in love.

"You know I'm all yours baby girl. And you can have all the naked dances you want any time amore mio!" Stefania said leaning in to kiss her girlfriend passionately.
"Well, you might not have realized that, but I'm still here girls!" Stephanie joked.
"Sorry sis. This woman drives me crazy! Hahahaha."
"Okay. Let's go to explore Paris a little bit more. And..  would you mind if I call Kelly to join us?" The older sister asked.
"As long as he keep 10 milles away from my girlfriend, I'm okay with that!" Stefania said amused.
"Baby girl, I've already told you, there is no reason for all this jealous. I just want you! I love you!" Danielle reasoned.
"Okay. I'm sorry. I was stupid! Steph, go ahead, invite him."
"No honey, you're not stupid! You're cute!" Danielle said melting.
"Sister, don't worry, because I swear for God, if Kelly comes with funy business to Dani, I will kill him myself!"

Everybody laughed a lot.

"But she knows I only have eyes for her, don't you mon amour?"
"Yes, I do. But..."
"No baby girl. That's all that really matters! I love you and I don't care whoever keeps looking at me or even flirting with me, do you understand that?"
"Yes! I love you too bambina! A lot!"

The trio spent the day together, going through a lot of beautiful places. Danielle and Stefania were happier than ever. Not only because they made their relationship official but also because of the italian's new job at LAC + USC Medical Center -General Hospital.

Without letting go for a second, Danielle and Stefania were just affection with each other, completely unable to keep their hands and mouth away from each other. Stephanie said she would call Kelly and get some water while the couple said they would wait for her in front of the Louvre pyramid.

"Baby, I have no words to say how proud I am of you!" The cardiologist said.
"Thank you my love. But I owe you this one!"
"What? Stefania, where does this come from?"
"Oh princess, we both know your dad is the director of the hospital, and you asked him, so..."
"No baby, I swear for God it was all you! Your resume is perfect, you are briliant! My dad really does everything I ask him, but when it calls the hospital's reputation and our crew, he is really professional and restrict. You're right, I really told him about you, but he was the one who's got interested and asked for your resume even before I had any chance to ask him something honey! If doctor Randy Savre admited you, it's because you're the best baby girl!"

The italian had teary eyes.

"Are you serious bella?"
"Completely, absolutely honest and serious my love! That's why I'm telling you that I'm so proud of you! Stef, I really love you so much, but I would never lie to you. It was all you mon amour!" The ocean-eyed girl stated lying her forehead into Stefania's.
"I love you so much mi bellina! More than you can imagine! Thank you for your trust. Dio santo, I'm so happy. I'd never imagine someday I'd get that far in my career!"
"Why not? Love, you're amazing!"

The hazel-eyed girl didn't say anything else. She just pulled her girlfriend and kissed her passionately.

"Thank you so much!"
"What for?"
"For your words, your trust, your love... for telling your dad about me, about us!"
"Hey, of course I'd tell! Baby, I love you! More than you'll be able to understand. I have all the reasons to tell the world about us!"
"I love you exactly like that too bambina!"
"That's good! Because I'm not planning to leave you in a lifetime!" Said the cardiologist.
"Promise?"
"Of course!"

The couple started kissing and suddenly they deepened it. Things got really warmer and when they realized they were in public, they had to stop.

"Fuck Stef, I will never get tired of this!"
"Me neither Dani! No matter how much I get from you bella, it will never be enough!"
"I feel exactly the same Stefania! Oj my God, I'm so blessed! Thanks God, we're on the same page!"
"Yes! We definitely are bambina!!" The brunette said in love.
"Okay mon amour, where are you whiling to go tonight?" The blonde asked.
"Mmm, I was thinking about taking you to "The Wanderlust".
"Wow!"
"Do you know there?"
"Yes, it is really cool! Great food, beautiful place and we can dance in addition."
"So, do you like the idea?"
"Yeah, I'm totally in beautiful!"
"Do you think your sister is gonna like it?"
"What? Stephanie loves this place! So do I! So, hell yes!!!"
"And I love you bambina! I'll do anything for you mi bellina!"
