Chapter 59

"They started kissing all over again. But it wasn't sexual. Of course, the sexual tension between them was unbelievable, but now it wasn't the need for sex speaking, it was love. The purest love!"

The next day the couple woke up early in the morning, had breakfast and left quickly to the stores. They were willing to buy as much stuffs as possible, once they would come back to work in a couple of days. They chose everything with great care, reflecting in the house all the love they felt for each other. And so they spent almost the whole week, dividing themselves between the stores, the designer's office and obviously, the intimate moments - which were the most desired by them, despite the fact that they loved personally choosing everything for their home.

Danielle couldn't be happier.  She found the true love of her life, she was completely fulfilled professionally, she was surrounded by people who liked her for her essence, not for her position. Not to mention that now she was decorating her new place, which she would share with the woman of her life, with whom she would  get married one day - what else could she ask of life?

Suddenly, she heard a sexy voice whisper in her ear sending goosebumps through her spine.

"A kiss for your thoughts."

The blonde immediately melted and smiled.

"Hi love. While you were talking to Steph and my mother, I was thinking about my life... about how everything changed radically for the better. I had to go through a shitty situation to understand  that wasn't my place in life and then take flight towards my happiness. So many people warned me about Grey, including my family, but I thought that everyone was crazy... what an idiot! But that's where Jaina, my best friend... FUCK!"

The Ob/Gyn  was really confused.

"Bambina, what is it?"
"Baby, we've been here for almost a week and I forgot to call Jaina... she's the responsable for me finding you and I didn't even remember to call her saying we're back... damn it!"
"Bella, what do you mean she's responsable for you finding me?"
"Well, I never took vacations. But when it all happened, Jaina saw how upset I was and practically forced me to take some days off and go travelling. And listening to my friend  was the best thing I've ever did in my life, because it brought me you." The cardiologist said in love.
"Oh, really? So why don't you call her and invite her for dinner with us? We can go out if you want to."
"Oh honey, that's a great idea! But we could stay home if you don't mind. My family loves Jaina, she's the head of pediatrics at the hospital."
"Sei perfetto! (It's perfect!) Come on, let's talk to your mom and prepare everything for dinner. Meanwhile, you call her."
"Okay baby. Let's go. I love you!"
"I love you more, bambina!"

While the italian programmed the menu and made the shopping list with Kathie, the blue-eyed girl called her best friend.

"Hi D, finally you called me!"
"Hi. What do you mean?"
"I've already talked to your mom, and she told me you arrived."
"Sure she told. Hahahahaha. Hey, Jai, I have a lot of great, no, amazing things to tell you."
"Really? Spit it Savre!"
"No! Hahahahaha. Not like this, by telephone."
"Okay. You and me. Now, at Verve Coffee Roasters in 30 minutes."
"Wait, wait! I'm calling to invite you to have dinner with us tonight..."
"Okay, we can have dinner. But I'll see you in 30, Savre. Don't you dare to get late!"

At this moment Stefania arrived in the room and noticed that her girlfriend was a bit disturbed, trying to talk to the pediatrician. So the blonde looked At her girlfriend with a surprised face and said:

"This crazy woman hung up on me! Hahahahaha."
"Hahahahhaha, how come bella?"
"She just said: you and me. Now, at Verve Coffee Roasters in 30 and simply hung up on me."
"Don't worry bambina. Go and meet your friend. Take your time, amore mio. I know you have a lot to tell her."
"No my love. I'm not going anywhere without you. I'll cal her again and tell her I won't be able to go."
"Amore mio, seriously, go meet your bestie. I want to cook you an amazing dinner. Let's make a deal, you go and meet her and I'll go to the supermarket with your mom. We're gonna take care of everything and you tell Jaina about us, about everything. And then you come back home to me, bringing her with you."
"No, I don't like the idea of being away from you, honey."
"Bambina, you need some friend time. Besides, we don't want your best friend hating me for taking you away from her."
"But I'm gonna miss you!"
"And I'm gonna miss you too. But it's fair enough you give her this little time. We owe her, bella. Besides, we.can call whenever we want, certo?" (Right?)
"Okay... 🤷‍♀️ Have I told you latelly that I love you so much, doctor Spampinato?"
"Mmmm, yes, but actually I don't mind at all listening to you telling me that all over again 🥰🥰🥰."
"Yeah?"
"Sì!"
"I love you! I love you! I love you!" The blonde said while kissed the hazel-eyed girl.

10 minutes later and Danielle couldn't let go of her girlfriend.

"Love, come with me."
"Bambina, no. I have to help your mom..."
"But I need you!" The cardiologist asked with puppy eyes.
"Cazzo, così mi uccidi... quindi assumiamo un servizio di ristoratore a casa o andiamo al ristorante. Non è giusto lasciare tua mama a fare tutto da sola..." (damn, doing that you kill me... so, let's hire caterer at home or head to a restaurant.  It's not fair to leave your mother doing everything alone...)
"Deal. Anything you want baby. As long as you come with me. 🥰🥰🥰"
"I need some minutes to change..."
"No. You're so damn perfect! Let's get going my love."

Stefania giggled but went with her girlfriend,  asking her if that was a good idea. The blonde just answered:

"That's the best idea ever!"

15 minutes later, the couple arrived at Verve Coffe shop hand in hand. Stefania panicked a little bit.

"Amore mio, don't you think it's better you go on your own? Your friend might be upset because I'm with you.  She was clear: you and her. I don't want to invade..."
"Hey, look at me, love. I choose you. And I'll choose you over and over without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat! I will keep choosing you. Always! Jaina won't be upset, but if she gets, what once again I repeat, she won't, this is up to her. You're in my life now, Stef. You are my life, baby! If someone want me around, it's better to know that either you'll be with me or I won't be. It's that simple, my love!"
"Secure?"
"Totally!"
"Okay. You know, sometimes,  someone comes into your life and changes everything. And you did exactly that, bambina. Io ti amo!" (I love you)
"Anch'io ti amo, amore mio! (I love you too, my love!) Now come on. I want to introduce the love of my life to my best friend."

Jaina arrived soon after and couldn't help but have a wide smile on her face when she saw her best friend pecking the lips of a beautiful brunette, completely in love.

"Wow Savre. So that's the reason for all this happiness." The doctor said making  herself noticed. "Just spit everything out. This is going to be very interesting!" The pediatrician stated amused and the ocean-eyed girl smiled wide.
"Oh, by the way, I'm Jaina. You can't imagine how pleased I am to meet you!" The new comer said to Stefania  smiling foundly.
