Chapter 63

"Yours, baby. I'm all yours forever!"

At 8:45 am they arrived at the hospital. Together. Before getting out of the car, the cardiologist noticed her girlfriend's disquiet. Then, she held the brunette's face between her hands and said:

"Hey, love. It's okay. I've got you, baby!"

Stefania smiled and hugged her girlfriend really tight.

"Hey, what's wrong? Are you feeling okay honey? You're shaking." The younger woman was genuinely concerned.
"Yes bambina. I'm fine. I'm just a little anxious. "
"Is it because of us?"
"No. Absolutely not."
"Stef, look at me. If you're not ready to tell people yet, I'll understand. "
"No, amore mio. I'm really ready for this! Nothing could make me prouder than arriving showing everybody that we belong to each other."
"Really?"
"Sì. I promise, bambina!"
"So what is it then? Why are you shaking, baby?"
"I don't know. I think I'm just a little bit overwhelmed. It's unbelievable how much my life has changed in the last 40 days! I left a shitty situation where I felt like the worst doctor and human being in the world to a completely different life, full of joy and happiness. Since I met you, I understood the real meaning of loving and being loved unconditionally. In you I found not only love, but also protection, affection, support. You encourage me to be the best version of myself each passing day, bella. What I'm saying, bambina, is that in the last 40 days I found the love of my life, the job of my dreams exactly where I dreamed of finding it. And most important, I got back to being myself. You gave me that, amore mio!"

Danielle couldn't be more delighted.

"Stef, before I met you, I never thought that one name could make me blush like an idiot. Before I met you, I never realized that a few minutes of a lack of contact could make me anxious. Before I met you, I didn't know that love is just not an emotion, it's something which can make me feel complete. I wish I could stop the time when I'm with you, because it's the best feeling ever! And you know what? In you I also find protection, support, affection. You always give me all I have never had for real in my life: love. So, than you my love!"
"Well, it seems we're both a little overwhelmed around here, huh?"
"Yes. Just because I love you more than words can say!"
"I love you exactly like that too, bambina."

The head of cardiothoracic smiled in love.

"Okay... are you feeling better now, baby girl?"
"Mmmm not exactly..."
"No? What's going on my love?
"Baciami!"

The blonde smiled in love and hurried to fulfill her girlfriend's request. After a passionate kiss, the italian felt good to go into the hospital. So, they got out of the surgeon's car and entered hand in hand.

As soon as the crew saw the blonde, everyone started hugging her and welcoming her back. Stefania tried to let go of her hand, but the blue-eyed girl refused to let her do that and held her hand tighter after hugging everyone, Danielle said:

"Hi guys, how are you? I missed y'all too. But now I'm back, happier than ever. And I want you all to know the new head of Ob/Gyn and most important, my beautiful girlfriend, doctor Stefania Spampinato."
"Wait. The Spampinato? The most brilliant Ob/Gyn in all Europe?" Asked doctor Camila Ludinghton, the obstetrics internal.
"Exactly her, Camila. But take it easy, she already has an owner! And it's me! Hahahahahaha."

Stefania couldn't feel more loved. Camila, furthermore, was completely embarassed. The italian couldn't help but smile like a fool in love with that woman who fulfilled her heart and soul with so much joy.

"N-no D- Dani. I-I didn't mean like this... I-I..."

Danielle bursted in laughter. She loved to make doctor Ludinghton embarassed.

"No silly goose, it's okay. I understood your intentions. I was just teasing you. But I mean it when I say that this gorgeous italian doctor is all mine! So, you all, behave yourself! 🤨"

Now it was Stefania's turn to burst in laughter.

"Bambina, you're scaring them."
"Good. That's the goal!"
"Hello, it's such a pleasure to know all of you!" The italian said politely.

After talking a little bit, the couple headed to Randy's office. The older Savre was waiting for them and got really happy when the couple entered into his room.

"My daughters!"
"Dad." They said in unisson.
"I just need to ask you both a simple question..."
"Yes dad, we're making very clear we are a couple." Danielle cut her dad amused.
"Oh, this is great! Actually, I wouldn't know how to treat Stefania just like another employee."
"Actually, I was worried about what people would say, but I talked to Stefania and she said she doesn't care. So, I'm, I mean, we're more than happy to let EVERYONE know we're girlfriends. "
"Great! This is all perfect. Now, Dani, what about you show Stef the hospital while we wait for your sister and Connor?"
"Sure!"
"See you soon."
"Okay dad. If you need us, Page me."
"Okay... Stefania?"
"Sì?"
"Welcome to the hospital!"
"Grazie, papa."

The blonde left pulling her girlfriend by the hand. They both left in a hurry and laughing because Danielle had ulterior motives and Stefania knew it.

"Baby, the first place I want to show you is..."

Opening a devilish smile, Danielle pulled the italian into a supply room. As soon as they closed the door, she locked it and said:

"Now you will know the place that from this moment on will surely become my favorite in this hospital."
"Your favorite? Serious? Why?" The brunette asked playing the innocent.
"Oh, my love, I can show you much better than tell" The blue-eyed girl said smirking seductively. And devouring the hazel-eyed girl's mouth, Danielle unzipped her girlfriend's pants and then she did what the both of them could no longer bear to wait, relieving the desire that both felt tearing their lower bellies.
