The next day came and both doctors came back to work. Stefania was still annoyed but felt more easy once Danielle got her a restriction order against Catarina. But some questions were still unanswered and going through the brunette's head:

1: How did Catarina find her?
2: What does she want from her now?
3: Why has this woman decided to appear only now, after all this time?
4: What would she be up to?

Because one thing was certain, Catarina wasn't after the italian's love. She wanted to get something out of this reunion, but what?

While all this thoughts distracted the hazel-eyed girl, her cell phone vibrated and snapped her out of her trance, but as soon as she saw who the message was from, the Ob/Gyn broke into a huge smile. It was from Danielle.

When the cardiologist recived the messsge from her girlfriend, she was already waiting the elevator to go to the surgery center, but upon reading that, the blonde immediately diverted her way to the obstetrician's office.

The blue-eyed girl knocked on the door and entered desperately, locking it behind her and running towards Stefania, kissing her hard with all the love and desire she had in every atom of her being.

Time flew away. Stefania didn't even notice it was already time to go. When she dismissed her last patient, she saw her favorite pair of blue eyes waiting for her in the waiting rrom.

"Bambina, you've been waiting for a long time?"
"No love, I just arrived."
"Okay.  How was the surgery?"
"A complete success!" The ocean-eyed girl said smiling.
"Perfetto! (Perfect) I had no doubts!"

The blonde smiled in love and asked:

"Ready to go?:
"Totaly!"

So they left the hospital, hand in hand and headed straight to Danielle's car.

"Are you hungry, bambina?" Stefania asked on their way to the car.
"Honestly, I really am. And I'm really tired too."
"Do you want to postpone our appointment,  bella?"

"Are you sure, bambina?"
"A 100%! If you could drive now, I'd apreciate, love. So that I can recover my strenght a little bit and we'll be ready to see our house. I'm so excited!"
"Of course I can, my love. Give me the keys. I will stop by some place to buy something to eat. We still have time. But even if we didn't, I'd call our designer to tell we'd run a little late..."

"You're my priority, bambina. I love to take care of you! What do you want to eat?"

"Okay, you won. We can have a hamburger with french fries for now." Danielle said.

After having a quickly meal, the brunette took them to their house, where they found the designer already waiting for them.

"Stefania, Danielle.  Hownarenyou?"
"We're good, and you?"
"I'm great, thank you. I have a surprise for you. Let's go inside?"

Both doctors agreed and when they got inside, they got speechless...

"Oh my God!" Danielle said

Stefania couldn't believe in her eyes...

"Doctor Savre, doctor Spampinato,  your house is resdy. You can move in whenever you want. Welcome!"

The couple kissed passionately and followed the designer to see how the whole make over turned out.

Everything was perfect! They were mesmerized. They never tired of prizing the work done wonderfuly and in record time, everything was finished, 15 days before the agreed deadline.

"Thank you so much! We loved it! You were perfect!"
"I am the one who want to thank you, doctors. For your patience and trust. I wish all the best on both of you.

And after saying their goodbyes, the designer left. When they found themselves alone in their new house, the two smirked showing all their ulterior intentions.

"We did it, baby!"
"Sì, we did it!"
"And now, what do you want to do, my love?"
"I don't know... I'm so happy, bambina!"
"Me too!"

Both women had teary eyes.

"Well, I have an idea..." The cardiologist said after kissing her girlfriend with so much love.
"Tell me, bella."
"What do you think about us taking our new  bed for a test drive. Then we're going to try out the pool and finish up in our bathtub, just to see if we approve it all? Then we can test the shower and then we order food and eat in front of the TV and then we decide wether to go to my parent's house or if we sleep here...."
"Mmmm that sounds like an amazing plan, amore mio!" The hazel-eyed girl replied without wasting time, and already kissing Danielle savagely while taking her clothes out.
"This is the time of our lives, my love! I want to make you the happiest woman in this world!"
