Chapter 7

"Althea go to the cell and make sure Loki doesn't escape!" Fury ordered her through the Comms. She quickly sprinted from there towards the holding cell.

As she entered the place she saw Loki stabbing through Coulson using his sceptre. "Noooo!" She cried out as she saw Coulson fell limp. She felt rage within her for the first time.

She channeled all the air  that was around her and pushed it towards him. Loki flew backwards and hit his head on the wall. She ran to Coulson and crouched down while applying pressure on his wound. "Hey hey! Phil look at me! Don't close your eyes!" She said to Coulson who was smiling.

"It's okay Thea. It's okay. It's gonna be fine." He said calmly and put his hand on hers which was applying pressure to his wound. Tears were rolling down her face. "Agent Coulson is down! Did someone copy that!" She  shouted through her Comms.

"Don't you dare give up! Please don't! You haven't gotten the love of your life to sign your trading cards yet so please don't give up." Althea said to Coulson who let out a chuckle. He raised his hand to her face and wiped her tears away. She leaned into his touch. "You'll get them for me right." Coulson asked her with a smile on his face.

"No no no I won't! Because you will get them yourself. Okayy! Please don't give up now!" She replied and faked a smile for him. She saw as Fury entered the room with paramedics which made her let out a relieved sigh.

She removed her hand as paramedics started to treat him. Sheheld on to his hand as tight as she could. She was afraid. She was not ready to lose him. Fury crouched down beside her. "Sorry boss. The god rabbited." Coulson said as Fury removed the weapon that was on his lap. "Just stay awake. Eyes on me." Fury said to Coulson who looked exhausted.

"No, I m clocking out here." Coulson replied. "Don't you dare give up!" She warned him with a threatening look on her face which made him let out a chuckle. She held his hand even more tighter than she already was. "Dont let go!" She said again which made the agent smile. "Not an option." Fury stated from beside her.

"It's okay, boss. This was never gonna work. If they didn't have something to—" Coulson started but stopped which made her look up to him and realized that her best friend was gone.

"Phil! Phil!" Sheshook his body frantically as she sobbed. Fury got up and held Althea back as she was still shaking his body. "He's gone Althea.He's gone." He said to her calmly which made her froze she stopped thrashing around and looked at Phil.

Tears were rolling down her face as she looked down at her hand which was still holding Phil's hand tightly. She let go of his hand. She watched quietly as they brought him away.

"Althea!" Agent Hill called out to her as she saw her still staring at the place Phil once laid. "Leave her be Agent Hill! She just lost her best friend." Fury said to Agent Hill and gestured her to leave. Agent Hill nodded and left.

Fury stared at the goddess who was still at her place sitting and staring at the place once Phil laid. He sighed and left.

All Althea felt was rage. She was  gonna take her revenge towards Loki one way or another. A tear slipped from her eye and she raised her hand to wipe it away when she saw the blood in her hands.

"What the hell did you do?" Phil asked rushing out of his room upon hearing the fire alarm. He saw the pan on the stove was on fire he quickly took the fire extinguishers and put out the fire.

"I apologize for the fire that I caused. I was merely attempting to make you a breakfast since you were kind enough to offer me a place to accommodate." Althea said to Phil who looked at her weirdly.

"You don't know how to cook? How did you find food when you were in Calcutta?" Phil asked her in confusion. "Bruce was the one who cooked. I merely helped him gather the ingredients." She replied  as she made her way to sit on the couch.
