Chapter 30

Althea walked in to the party to be met by so many people. "I really hate this." She turned and said to Natasha who was missing. "I hate her." She grumbled under her breath realizing Natasha has abandoned her.

"Thea wow! You look..wow!" She heard Steve saying  and turned to see him staring at her in awe which made her blush. "Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself." She said and playfully pushed him.

"Can I tell you something?" She asked Steve who gave her a confused look but still nodded his head. "I need you to guide me to save space because I can't really walk in this heels." She said which made Steve stifle a laugh. "Don't laugh!" She said and hit his arm. "I m sorry this is just funny." He said which made her roll her eyes in annoyance.

"You know what? I'll walk by myself!" Althea said and walked slowly towards her brother and Tony who were talking to Rhodey. "Thea come on!" Steve followed her but she started walking fast losing him in the crowd.

"You look beautiful sister." Thor said once she came in to his view. The goddess smiled at him thankfully and held his arm to keep her upright. "Hey Thea." Rhodey greeted her which made her hug him. Althea hadn't seen Rhodey in a long time. "Hey Rhodey." She greeted him which made him roll his eyes.

"Look what you just did Tony!" He grumbled to Tony which made three of them to let out a chuckle. "Hey any update on Ultron?" Tony asked her in a hush tone. "No. Not that I know of." She responded. Both of them checked their phone's wondering whether Jarvis sent them anything or not. A frown made a way on to both of their faces knowing there's no any update.

"So I take the tank, fly it right up to the general's palace, drop it at his feet. I m like, 'Boom. You looking for this?'."
Rhodey told his story to the goddess Tony and Thor who looked at him thinking Rhodey hadn't finished his story yet. "Boom! Are you looking" why do I even talk to you guys? Everywhere else that story kills." Rhodey said which made the siblings share a confused look

"That's the whole story?" The siblings asked simultaneously. "Yeah it's a War Machine story." Rhodey stated as if it would finally make them laugh. "Oh, it's very good then." Thor responded with a smile which made her let out a chuckle.

"That was the worst story I heard in my life." She whispered to Tony. "You're not the only one." He whispered back to her which made her stifle a laugh. "It's impressive." Thor faked laugh and added. "Quality save. So no Pepper? She's not coming?" Rhodey asked Tony.

"No." Tony replied with a smile. "What about Jane? Where are the ladies gentleman?" Hill asked them which made Althea realize that she was there. "Oh, Miss Potts has a company to run." Tony said.

"Yes, I m not even sure what county Jane's in. Her work on the convergence has made her the world's foremost astronomer." Thor added which made her roll her eyes knowing what he was trying to do.

"And the company that Pepper runs is the largest tech conglomerate on earth. It's pretty exciting." Tony said which made the goddess to move away from both of the boys and stand beside Hill.

"There's even talk of Jane getting a Nobel prize." Thor added which made Rhodey Hill and Althea to share a look. "Yeah they must be busy because they would hate missing you guys get together. Testosterone." Hill said and started coughing which made her stifle a laugh.

"Shit! That was hilarious!" She said which made Rhodey and Hill let out a chuckle. "Don't say that Infront of Cap." Tony said to her which made her roll her eyes. "Tony stop. Leave him alone." The goddess warned  Tony who smiled. "Not in this lifetime." Tony shot at her which made her roll her eyes.

Althea walked away from them and looked around the room choosing her next victim. Suddenly someone wrapped their arm around her waist, she turned to look and it was Steve. She rolled her eyes at him. She was still mad at him for laughing at her.
