Althea sat on the ground just staring at the sky. She looked around at the planet that was filled with rubble's and broken parts of a spaceship.
it was depressing to even look around the planet. She let out a sigh. She didn't know what to do know anymore. She knew she has to fight a battle but couldn't bring herself to get up. Losing Loki felt like losing a big part of herself.

"Hi." She heard an unfamiliar voice greeting her which made her turn to see it was the man that pointed a gun against her student. She turned away and continued staring at the sky. "I'm sorry about Drax, he's you know, well it doesn't matter. I'm sorry about your brother." He apologized for the kylosian.

She remained silent which made the man let out a sigh before sitting beside her. "Hey, I'm Peter Quill. People call me Star Lord. I know you don't know me that well. But I've been through alot and by alot I mean alot. My father killed my mother and I had to kill him." Peter continued which made her look at him. The Star Lord was surprised to see that she was indeed listening what he was saying.
the thing is I saw what you did back there and it scared me. And believe me when I say that I don't scare easily." He continued which made her raise her brow at him. "It doesn't matter. Thanos has my girl. I've lost many people and I'm not ready to lose her. So I'm asking for you help." He concluded and stared at her intently.

She stood up from the ground and gestured him to lead the way which he did. "Thank you." He stated with a smile on his face. She nodded her head but didn't speak a word as she followed. As they stepped out of the other side of the ship, she could see the suprise looks his teammates and hers was giving them.

"Thea." Tony started and took a step forward towards her. She raised her hand indicating not to come any closer to her. She shot him one of the deadliest glare before walking and sitting on of the pile of rubble.

Peter eyed her with a worried look on his face so he decided to walk towards her and took a place beside her. "I'm sorry about your brother, Miss Althea." He stated which made her look at him with an unreadable look. "I know what it's like to lose family and seeing as you lost most of your family. I can't really imagine what you're going through. I know it doesn't mean alot but I'm here for you." He concluded which made her croak out a smile for him. She raised her hand and ruffled his hair.

"Thank you, Peter." She said and hugged him. Her student was taken back by it but immediately returned it. "What you did back there was so cool, Miss Althea. With literal fire in your hand." He stated in attempt to make her smile which made her smile wider. Peter knew it wasn't one of her true smile but he was content with himself for making her smile.

"What The hell happened to this planet? It's eight degrees off its axis. Gravitational pull is all over the place." She heard Quill saying as he walked around with a device on his hand. She stood up from the ground which made her student do the same.

"Yeah, we got one advantage. He's coming to us. We'll use it. Alright I have a plan." Tony stated which made Althea, Peter and Quill gather around. She might be incredibly mad at him but she knew she has to do this. She has to avenge her brother.

She felt incredibly tired. It took alot of her energy when she conjured the fire element. She knew she can't conjure it again. It'll take alot in her to even use her magic again. It was truly a wonder on how she didn't pass out when she conjured it. The only reason she stayed still was because of her rage and the protectiveness she felt towards Peter knowing it's her job to protect him. Seeing as she gave May her word that she'd always protect him.

"Or atleast the beginning of one. It's pretty simple. We draw him in, pin him down, get what we need. Definitely don't wanna dance with this guy. We just want the gauntlet." Tony continued but stopped himself as he saw Drax yawning which made the goddess roll her eyes.
