Chapter 31

"What the hell is that?" Althea asked out loud as she covered her ears. "Worthy. No. How could you be worthy? You're all killers." One of the iron legion suit's said but it was in a worst condition.

"Stark." Steve called out Tony. "Jarvis." She heard Tony saying. She had pretty good idea about who this was. "Shit!" She said out loud which earned many looks from teammate.

"I m sorry, I was asleep or I was a dream. " The thing said. "Reboot legionnaire OS. We got a buggy suit." Althea heard Tony saying. "Tony I don't think this is a buggy suit." The goddess said out loud. Bruce Tony and Althea share a look knowing what she was talking about.

"Thea what the hell is this?" She heard  Clint asking her but she ignored him. She was panicking at the moment and she didn't know what to do. "There was this terrible noise. And I was tangled in..in strings. I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy."

"You killed someone?" Steve asked. "Wouldn't have been my first call. But down in the real world, we're faced with ugly choices. " Ultron replied.
"Who sent you?" Her brother asked it. "I see a suit of armor around the world." Ultron played a recording of Tony's voice.

"Ultron." The goddess said out loud knowing what she thought was right. "In the flesh or no not yet. Not this chrysalis. But I m ready. I m on mission." Ultron responded. "What mission?" Natasha asked Ultron.

"Peace in our time." Ultron replied and suddenly the iron legion busted through the walls and attacked them. "I hate when I m right!" She  grumbled as Steve grabbed her waist and pushed her to the floor to take cover.

The goddess turned to her right and searched for a gun under the couch. As soon as she got her hands on it she slowly got up and shot at it. "Shit!" She cussed out knowing this won't work considering she was the one who build it to withstand bullets. She took one of the kitchen knife and crouched down behind a couch.

As soon as one of the iron legion suit's came in to her view she jumped on it's back and stabbed the knife on it's neck powering it down. The goddess groaned as she fell to the floor as soon as it powered down.

Althea got up immediately and try to do the same but she was pushed back. She groaned in pain as her back bit hard on the bar counter. Suddenly she realized something alcohol contains water meaning she could control it. She was hoping to God that this would work. Althea channeled the water around her. She heard glass shattering as the water gathered, she pushed it against the suits which made them immediately to power down.

"You couldn't have done that sooner!" She heard Clint grumbling which made her roll her eyes in a annoyance. "Thea are you okay?" Steve asked her as he hugged her. He was incredibly worried after seeing her fell to the ground. He draped his jacket over her shoulder after examining all of her scratches in her upper arm.

"That was dramatic." Ultron said which made Althea roll her eyes. "You think so?" She asked sarcastically. "I'm sorry I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through. You want to protect the world but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to evolve? With these? These puppets?" Ultron asked them and lifted up one of the iron legion suit's head.

"There's only one path to peace. The Avengers extinction." Ultron said which made Thor threw his hammer against it and shattered it into pieces.

Althea was seated on a table and finding for Ultron. She didn't understand what went wrong with Ultron. He was meant to keep peace not disrupt it. "All our work is gone." She heard Bruce saying.

"Ultron cleared out. He used the internet as an escape hatch." She added and put her tablet away knowing she can't do anything now. "Ultron." She heard Steve scoff which made her let out a sigh. She knew Steve was mad at her with the way he was glancing at her every five minutes.
