Mandy’s POV
I walked into Alisha’s house to see everyone had already arrived. I was kind of nervous to say the least because I had just thrown a bitch fit and walked out a few hours ago.
Once everyone noticed me, the room fell silent. I looked behind me to Josh for some help.
“Hey Jimbo, Lee, don’t you have some news?” Josh said.
“I’m having a baby!” Jimmy yelled excitedly. I stood there surprised and Jimmy then had a confused look on his face. “Wait, I’m not having a baby, Leana is having the baby, but it’s my baby.”
I started laughing and ran up to them both. I gave them both a hug. “Congratulations! I am so happy for you guys!”
After the excitement died down, the awkward silence stood out and everyone’s eyes switched between me and Alisha.
After a few minutes of silence Alisha stood up.
“I need to check on Robin.” Was all she said before walking upstairs.
Alisha’s POV
I couldn’t believe after everything she said and did at dinner she came back and didn’t say a word to me.
I walked into Robin’s room and picked her up. She stirred a little bit and I sat down in the rocking chair with her. I reached over and put on the song that Joel had written for her. He had finally gotten to recording it and now Robin couldn’t sleep without it.
There was a soft knock on the door and Brian walked in.
“Hey you alright?” He asked and sat on the couch by Robin’s bed.
“I’m fine.” He gave me a hard look.
“Ali don’t lie, we all know you’re upset about happened with Mandy.”
I sighed. “I am upset, you know I don’t like to fight with her, but this time it is not my responsibility to fix it. She was way out of line even if it had to do with our dad.”
“I know you know this already, but Mandy is too stubborn to fix it and if you don’t who will? Alisha your wedding is right around the corner.” He said softly.
I knew deep down that I was going to have to fix things with Mandy, but right now I needed time to myself, time to deal with it all.
“Bri, can you just give me a few minutes? I promise I’ll be down in a bit, I just need time to think to myself.”
He got up, gave me a quick hug and went back downstairs.
I sat there with Robin in my arms. I honestly had no clue on what to do in this situation. Dealing with Mandy’s outbursts was seriously taking its toll on me.
Mandy’s POV
I sat in the living room with everyone, the awkwardness had subsided and now it was like we were just waiting for someone to snap.
I knew that most of this was my fault, but I wanted to believe that I was right.
Alisha should know that I was just trying to protect her.
“Mandy, can we talk?” I looked up to see Brian standing in the doorway.
I got up and followed him outside.
“Brian, I just want you to know, that this isn’t what I wanted. I mean you and me fighting.” He just looked at me, I knew that look all too well.
