Mandy’s POV

I sat in my room replaying every scenario in my head. I couldn’t believe everything I had forgotten. I was married to Carey.

I waited patiently for Brian to get home; I had some serious thinking to do until then.

I needed to talk to Carey, but I didn’t think that was the smartest idea, I knew that I needed to clear things with Brian before anything else.

Brian’s POV

I walked in to find Alisha sitting in the living room with a book in her hand. When she noticed we were here she jumped up quickly.

“Brian! Thank God!” She rushed up to me and I started laughing.

“Ali, we weren’t even gone that long. What’s going on?”

“It’s Mandy. She remembers everything.” I immediately ran upstairs to check on her. When I got to our room she was sitting on the bed twirling her wedding ring around.

“Babe, you okay?” She looked up with tears in her eyes.

“Brian how could we do this to him? Carey was there for me when you weren’t how could I hurt him like this?” I knew that Mandy didn’t understand anything that had happened, in her mind we were the ones in the wrong, but once I told her it was Carey, I knew she would be just as pissed as the rest of us.

I sat down next to her and began to tell her everything from the beginning.

Alisha’s POV

I sat in the kitchen with Jimmy, Joel and Tal. “What do I do now? She knows everything and I don’t know how to tell her about dad.”

Jimmy put his hand on mine. “I can go with you if you want?” I shook my head.

“Thanks Jimbo, but I think I need to do this one on my own. I just wonder how things are going for Bri?”

“I think he can handle it, we just can’t let Mandy out of here, because as soon as she knows everything you know she’s going to want to kill Carey.”

 Tal added.

The house suddenly grew silent and when I looked towards the front door I knew why.

Val emerged from the stairs at the same time Matt walked through the door with everybody else. I was watching them closely they really needed to talk and figure all this shit out.

“I hope they can figure all this out.” Joel said quietly. I nodded in agreement.

Matt’s POV

I looked at Val, this was the first time I had seen her in weeks and she was still as beautiful as ever. How was I supposed go on without her?

I noticed the silence in the room and I knew they were all waiting for one of us to make a move. I smiled at her and walked passed her upstairs, my hand brushed against hers and I felt sparks, I needed her. I couldn’t, more like wouldn’t give her up.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her upstairs with me. I opened the door to one of the guest rooms and closed it behind us, pushing her up against it, I kissed her.

I knew that she still loved me, when she kissed me back with the same amount of passion.

I could feel her tears on my face, I pulled away from her and studied her face, she didn’t say a word and neither did I. We just stood there, with her in my arms.

Suddenly she reached behind her and opened the door slipping right out of my grasp.

I sat on the bed with my head in my hands.

If she still loved me why was she giving up on us? I waited a few minutes before going back downstairs, I heard Alisha’s door open and close a few times, and when it was completely silent I walked down slipping out the front door unnoticed.

I walked to the park where I had proposed to Val, all of my memories with her flooding my mind. I honestly didn’t know how to live without her.

Val’s POV

I walked into Alisha’s room with her and Linzi.

“What’s going on Val?” Alisha asked.

I sat on her bed and sighed. “I haven’t been honest with you guys.”

“What do you mean about what?” Linzi asked.

“I ended things with Matt because we were just not the couple we used to be, but there is another reason that we could never work.”

Alisha and Linzi sat there quietly waiting for me to continue.

“I applied for a modeling job in Italy and I got it.”

Linzi jumped up excitedly. “What?! That is amazing Val!”

Alisha looked at me sternly. “Val you need to talk to Matt.”

“I know, but I think that I am just going to tell everyone together, I don’t have to be there until next week, I can just talk to everyone tomorrow.”

“If you think that’s best then I will stand by you.” Alisha spoke softly.

Linzi shook her head. “Val you have to be in Italy in 7 days, this modeling agency isn’t going to wait for you. You have so much to do; I mean you only have a few days to pack up your whole life.”

I sighed. “I don’t know if I can do this.”

Alisha sat down next to me and put her arm around me. “You can do this and you will do this. This is an amazing opportunity, we all get it and maybe it’s good for you to get away with everything going on with Matt.”

I hugged them both and walked downstairs, not saying one word about what had just happened between me and Matt. Not being with him was going to be the hardest thing I had to overcome, but I was determined to do so and be happy without him. He needed to live his life without me; it was what was best for the both of us.

Mandy’s POV

I paced around my room not knowing exactly what to think, how could all of this have happened in such a short amount of time.

“I need to talk to Carey.” I said angrily, but when I tried to leave, Brian pulled me back.

“I don’t think that’s the best idea right now, just wait until we get back to California, maybe then you will have a clear mind, right now let’s just be here and live in the moment. Please.”

I nodded and kissed him.

In this moment I didn’t know how I could ever hurt Brian and spend the last few months without him.

The Next Day.

Matt’s POV

I walked into Alisha’s house with Benji to see everyone already here and sitting in the living room, the only person missing was Val.

I sat down next to Alisha. “What’s going on?”

She shook her head and Val walked in with a huge smile on her face.

“Hey everyone, I have gathered you all here because I have some awesome news!”  I smiled at how excited she was.

She continued. “Not too long ago I applied for a modeling job that is really important to me and I got the call yesterday morning… and I got it!” She screamed.

Then all the questions started popping up from everyone, except for Linz and Ali.

“When does it start?” Lacey asked.

“How long is the gig?” Johnny asked.

“Where is it going to be?” Mandy asked.

“What fashion line?” Jimmy asked enthusiastically.

We all turned to look at him and laughed.

She smiled. “Well it starts in one week, I’m not sure how or with what designers, they said they would fill me in when I get there and…” her smile fell as she looked at me.

“It’s in Italy.”
