One Week Later.

Mandy's POV

I walked into Alisha's house. It was silent. No laughter, no music, nothing. I don't think I had ever walked in and heard complete silence. All the lights were off and Joel was no where to be found.

Robin had stayed the night with Val and Matt. Ever since Robin found out she refused to leave Val's side. All Joel wanted was to be alone, and I completely understood that, but we really needed to talk about what we were going to do.

I walked upstairs to Joel's studio, the recording light was on, but I decided to walk in anyway.

"Jo?" I said softly.

He turned around with the same look of sadness. His eyes were puffy and red, he obviously hadn't slept all night.

"Hey Mandy." He tried to smile.

"I went to Val's this morning. Robin is asking about you." He shook his head.

"Do I really look like I should be around her right now?" He snapped.

"Joel were all hurting here, but if you keep pushing your daughter away you are going to regret it. Please don't become your father."

He turned around quickly, I obviously hit a nerve. "Are you serious? My father left us just to do it. I am trying to spare my daughter the pain of seeing me suffer like this. Alisha was the love of my life Mandy! It is going to take me a little longer than 2 weeks to get over this!"

"Joel, you lost your wife, yes. But I lost a sister, Val lost a friend, Robin lost a mother! But we are all pushing through this. Your four year old daughter is way stronger than you are right now. Maybe you should take that into consideration."

I started to walk off, but then he spoke again. "I am trying Mandy. Please believe that."

I walked out of the room and headed back to Val's. Her and Matt were still trying to work on their marriage the last thing they needed was to have to take care of Robin.

Benji's POV

I sat in my living room with Josh and Matt.

"So now that the car crash was ruled an accident, do we really have to tell Joel all the morbid details? I mean it has been over a week." I said.

"I think we should stay quiet about it all until he starts to ask questions." Josh said.

I nodded in agreement.

"Have you guys been over there?" Matt asked.

Me and Josh both shook our heads. "He never opens the door and if we use the key he just ignores us. We honestly don't know what else to do."

"I was thinking about calling mom back out here. She is the only one that has ever been able to talk some sense into him." I said.

Matt and Josh both nodded.

"Maybe that's what he needs. I better get going. I don't want to leave Val alone long and I think we might have Robin again tonight." Matt stood up.

"Me and Eliza can take her if you want?"

He shook his head. "Naw man. She only wants to be around Mandy and Val, we've been switching back and forth, but I think it's harder when she's around Mandy. She looks so much like Alisha."

"That's true. I'm guessing that's why Joel won't take her home. It's too hard." Josh said.

Matt walked out and I called my mom. It was time for Joel to start moving forward, he needed to be a father.
